you're a regular decorated emergency. It was great to have guy friends sometimes. They definitely weren't as dramatic as girls. You didn't have to worry about them liking the same guys that you did, or that they might copy your hair style or your clothes or any of that. They were there for you no matter what, just like your girl friends. Most of the time. If something went wrong, when Mandy was younger, the first person she would call would be Oliver. Even if he would just listen, for some reason, spilling her heart out to him just soothed her, put her at ease.
But, now that they were older, it was a little harder to do that. First of all, Mandy and Oliver were still on a little uneasy grounds with each other. Second of all, she was in the mood to go see Holli. Mandy had managed to sneak away from one of the activities and her noisy bunk, in search of the sequoia cabin. Although, she wasn't sure how much peace and quiet she was going to find there. That cabin was notorious for the parties, which probably meant that was loud, all the time.
Mandy was still in her bathing suit from kayaking earlier that day, so she ran back to the cabin and threw on a pair of Abercrombie jean shorts and a brown tank. She threw some gold bangles on her wrists, and ran her fingers through her drying blonde curls. She bit down on her lip, searching under piles of clothing for shoes. She finally gave up, throwing her hair up in a high pony tail and beginning to head in the direction of the cabin.
The cabin was a little farther from the yosemite cabins, but when she had finally arrived, she stepped up on the front step and knocked. She knew that usually here at camp people from other cabins just waltzed into other cabins, but Mandy was one that liked to respect other people's privacy. She crossed her arms over her chest, waiting for Holli or one of her bunk mates to answer the door.

everyone's a letdown. it just depends on how far down they can go. Charlie had pretty much given up on guy friends. They all turned into friends with benefits. The benefits being the more then the friend. So Charlie had a problem, whatever if she had wanted to stop being a slut she would have. But what she had to look forward to when she was older was just to awful to think about so she chose this time to party and have fun and get it all out of her system. She had life as a socialite to look forward to so yippy.
Holli was laying face down on her bed a book open on the pillow. Yep thats right kiddys she likes to read. So what if it was totally not something people thought she'd like or even know how to do. She'd always been a bit of a geek at heart. She had on a pair of Hollister cargo short shorts and a goldish tank. Her black hair was just hanging around her shoulders. This was a very natural look for the girl as she didn't like to dress up to much.
Someone knocked on the door and Holli ignored it. Then she looked up and saw Mandy standing there. Opps. Char thought. "Coming my love." She said in a sing song voice rolling off her bed. She skipped to the door and held it open. "Why do you knock? You can just come in you know." Charlie said with a grin. [/blockquote]

it took too long for you to call back.Mandy was so glad that she had come to see Hollister today. There was so many things that Mandy had to tell her, and knowing Hollister...she probably had a whole slue of things to tell her, too. She crossed her arms over her chest, staring off into the distance as she waited patiently for her friend. She would have to tell her about her eating disorder if she was going to tell her about Oliver, too. Or maybe she just wouldn't tell her anything and today could just be fun.
Mandy inwardly giggled at her friend's sing song voice. She was so crazy, but that was why Mandy loved her. "Thank you, m'love!" She called back in the same tone. It was only a matter of moments before Hollister appeared at the door and Mandy wrapped her arms around her friend. "Heyloo." She chipperly greeted, breaking the embrace.
She rolled her eyes, opening the door wider and bouncing to her friends' bed. "Well excuse me for trying to be polite." Mandy laughed, hoisting herself onto Hollister's bed and crossing her legs indian style. "So, what's new?" Mandy asked, giggling at the book on Hollister's bed. She and Hollister were probably the only people that read all the time at camp.

she's cold and she's cruel, but she knows what she's doin'. Normally Hollister would have tons of stuff to tell Mandy but not today. Life, lucky/unlucky, had been pretty drama free. She's gotten a lot of actual campy stuff done, and reading, and caught up with some boys she been planning to..get to know. But Holls missed the drama, she loved it, she fed off it. She was just a horrible high school girl like that.
Holli hugged her friend. "Hell to the o."She said then watched her go inside. She followed a grin plastered on her face. "Being polite? I live here, that means come in when ever you want silly." Holls said sitting on her bed and mimicking Mandy sitting Indian style. "Well I actual did some of the camp stuff I'm suppose to do. Like art whatever class thing. It was fun." Holls put the book under her bed on top of her suitcase. "It is so wrong that I read and most people don't. Anyway, whats new with you?" [/blockquote]

you have opened up my heart, now your love is rushing in.Mandy knew that Hollister was involved in some, err, party-like habits...and it made her nervous. Mandy did drink sometimes, when she was stressed out she'd somehow manage to sneak a little vodka from her dad's alcohol cabinet. She never smoked or did drugs or did any of that stuff, and she wasn't sure if Hollister was doing that. But, she did know that she acted a little bit, err, whoreish.
Mandy would never call her that to her face, or even say that about her friend out loud ever. It wasn't even meant to be hurtful, she just knew the risks in doing that...and she didn't want her friend to end up getting her heart broken. Mandy had never been very good at soothing. "Hmm, what? Oh. Nothing really," She said. "I watched 'Tristan and Isolde', and then I saw...Oliver." She said with a blush, knowing quite well that her best friend knew all about her ex. "What about you?"
