It was silly for him to be up so early, but he was, and he was still half-asleep. He couldn’t even blame his goddamn alarm clock -- he awoke on his free will, rolling out of bed at nearly eight o’clock. A bad dream, of course. Reid was panting, sweating, close to tears -- it was madness. He had finally awoken, though, to the sun through the nylon curtains, blinding him immediately, as usual. So it hadn’t been a very good mourning so far, maybe that would change. Not to mention the fact that he couldn’t get something off his mind -- it was eating him from the heart beyond, it was ridiculous. Stupid party. Why did he have to go? Why did he have to invite Caleb outside with him? Perhaps he wouldn’t be in such a situation if he’d just left and let the boy get completely shitfaced, and forget about the whole thing until they mat again. Instead he had promised to show him the sunset. And he had only just remembered that he had told him that they would do that today. Well, bye bye Reid’s already lacking physical health. Oh well, surely it would be worth it. Regardless, Reid huffed and adjusted the headband that let his hair fall just as he liked it; as it usually did. Red tuffs were messy and everywhere, though in a very tamed, controlled fashion.
A pair of cheap, cheap blues brothers sunglasses were perched on the freckled bridge of his nose, and they threatened to fall as he wrinkled it slightly, attempting to get his allergies straight. Those damn things seemed to be controlling him this mourning -- his eyes were puffy, slightly red, and his nose was itchy, running; it was nearly unbearable. But that didn’t make the redhead move -- not a muscle. The peak was too relaxing, Reid was ready to sue it. Too bad there were sunflowers and daisies what seemed like every-fucking-where, because Reid was, like, suffocating. Of course, he just brushed a tissue to his nose and called trying to stop it quits, simply resorting to ignore it. It was eight o’clock and Reid already wanted the day to end, I think that’s saying something. Sighing once more, Reid tugged absently at the cornflower blue tee shirt that fit to his chest, brushing a few of the invisible particles from the material and folding his arms over his chest lightly. Pale blue -- though puffy, red, and slightly glossy -- eyes watched the koi as they explored the floor of the pond, a water lily or two inhabited by a frog, silent and seemingly peaceful at such an early hour. That was, of course, until Reid sneezed about four times, looking back to lily to find it empty, the water disrupted and rippling.
Shutting his eyes once more, Reid slid slightly down smooth surface of the rock he had been propped up against, his body curling slightly as if he could just fall asleep and then wake up later -- a lot later. Like tomorrow. For once, he actually kinda wanted to go home.

Caleb had woken up early. He had barely slept that night anyway. When he found out he had plans with Reid, he was excited. Sleeping wasn't working well for him. He kept waking up every hour. Finally it was morning, not to early so he could get up. He changed out of his boxers and white t-shirt and into a pair of tight black jeans and a red T-shirt with japenese words on it and a stud belt around his waist. His dark hair hung near his eyes but not in front of them, hair in front of his eyes drove him insane, he usually kept it short enough not to touch his eyes, but he hadn't had a hair cut in awhile.
Remembering his time with Reid made him even more excited to see him. Sure they had that fight, but Caleb wanted to forget about that. Everything else had been pretty fun, just hanging with him was nice. He wasn't understanding why he was crushing on the one guy that didn't seemed interested. Caleb looked at the clock, 8am. wow. He shrugged and left the cabin quietly in order not to wake anyone, they were probably all hung over anyway.
Caleb walked through the quiet Camp. It was a scary quiet, almost no one was up. People would be getting up soon though. He looked up at the sky, his hands crossed across his chest as he walked, his beat up converse hitting the rocks under his feet. He had been told to meet Reid up at the peak. Oh bad memories there, Oliver, ugh that kid annoyed him. Not having a real desire to go there but he did, for Reid.
Caleb walked up the hill, watching for holes or rocks so he didn't trip or get hurt. It sure was a bitch trying to get up this hill. He finally got to the top and took a breath and flipped his hair from his eyes. He looked around and finally spotted a red headed boy laying on a rock. He smiled and walked over to him. he saw the boy had his eyes closed. Caleb bit his lip lightly, he looked so peaceful, he hated to disturb him. He leaned down at kissed the top of Reid's head lightly. "Wakey wakey sleepy head" He said with a small laugh, a smile on his lips.

It was so quiet, so peaceful; if his nose hadn’t been running and his eyes stinging, then it would be ideal. But, alas, they were, so it was…well, not. Either way, Reid shuffled slightly, a little bit cramped in his insanely tight, charcoal grey jeans, low on his hips, skin guaranteed to be bared, as he felt the hot sun’s rays against his hips, causing him to frown and move again until he was covered and, again, comfortable -- at least, as comfortable as once could get. He had moved nearly ten times since seven this mourning, though the sunflowers and daises hadn’t let him be to get a decent nap, it was irritating. So, instead of moving, he just buried his face into the collar of his tee shirt and sighed softly, eyes shutting tightly. Though, that peace didn’t last long -- at first he had thought leaves were falling on his head, but then he realized that they were not leaves at all -- they were lips.
Groaning unappreciatively, Reid stirred until he was sitting up slightly, abusing his nose as he rubbed it angrily. He brushed away a tear that fell from his puffy eyes and scurried to his feet. “Mourningggg,” he said, words dragging -- the same enthusiastic Reid was somewhere underneath the mess that he came off as right now. “Sleep okay?” That would make one of them. Hopefully he did, though, because it was a hella tough walk and Reid might need him to carry him half the way -- kidding, of course, but it was definitely a hard walk. The silence was comfortable, and Reid was still rubbing at his nose huskily, frowning slightly. From there, his fingers moved to adjust, once more, the slipping headband from his forehead.
“Fuck, we need to leave. I have the allergies from hell,” Reid complained, huffing before wiping his hand off on his shirt and grabbing Caleb’s wrist, pulling it eagerly. Twigs snapped under his weight, beaten vans stepping carelessly on them as he avoided tripping over logs that were blurry and out of focus, as the tears in his eyes built up. Why does it have to happen to him now? He looked like a mess. And he forgot his damn drops. Reid remembers distinctly staring at them when he woke up and saying that he needed to fetch them before leaving. But then he showered, leaving the cabin without them, and then his half-asleep self forgot to boot his ass back and get them. So, here he is, now, looking like a complete train wreck -- in front of Caleb, no less -- without his bloody allergy drops.

It was really nice up here. If only his first time up here hadn't been the moment from hell. But now that he was here on better terms, and not with Oliver, it was very nice. Really pretty actually. All the flowers and everything you could see off the peak. It looked like it went on for miles and miles. Caleb ruffled his own hair and then looked back to Reid who finally was stirring. Caleb couldn't help but smile, Reid was just so cute. His thoughts were cut of by Reid's voice.
“Mourningggg,” Caleb smiled, looking from the flowers and tree's back to Reid. "Morning back at cha." He said watching Reid then stuffing his own hands into his pockets and kicking a rock off the peak. “Sleep okay?” Caleb shrugged. Absolutely not, he was up every hour, he was exhusted, but he didn't show it. "Eh, kinda. How 'bout you? By the looks of it you didn't sleep much?" he said with a chuckle. He jsut meant that Reid seemed tired, what with him falling asleep on the rock.
“Fuck, we need to leave. I have the allergies from hell,” Caleb couldn't help but chuckle a bit. Then he felt a tug at his wrist and he followed behind Reid. "Oh thats not to much fun" He said with a shrug, he didn't have allergies thank goodness. Calev walked quickly a step or two behind Reid, he wasn't a quick walker so it took him a minute to catch up. "So where are we going again?" He felt like an idiot, but he wasn't exactly sure where Reid was taking him. Caleb had to watching his feet so he didn't trip over him, or a log or something. but it was hard when Reid was right in front of him. His eyes kept averting to him every couple seconds.

After rubbing his eyes fiercely for a few moments, Reid glanced over his shoulder, scaling his gaze from his hand, clutching onto Caleb’s wrist for what seemed like dear life, then up to his face, a small grin settled on his lips at him. “Much, good, comfortably -- sleeping just wasn’t on my side last night, it seemed,” he huffed, shaking his head as he brought his gaze quickly back to the floor so that he wouldn’t trip and make more of a fool of himself for that mourning -- that was involuntarily covered by the glossiness of his eyes, unattractive runniness of his nose, etcetera. “Not fun? That’s an understatement, you’re lucky you don’t have them. At least, right now,” the redhead grumbled, a lighthearted chuckle falling from his lips as he let go of Caleb’s wrist finally, regretfully, as they reached a large opening that led to the entrance of a tall forest. Yes, they were going in there. Reid wouldn’t usually have the courage to, but Caleb seemed to give him said courage -- example, the thunder storm the previous night; usually he’d be hiding under five million blankets, crying and damning the weather. Quite embarrassing, actually.
“Well, I was thinking I was going to take you deep into the forest, have my way with you, then leave you there,” Reid was simply, bluntly -- seriously. He even surprised himself with the straight face he managed as he looked over his shoulder once more at the dark haired boy, though just at the sight of him a grin was etched onto his features. “Kidding, but we’re going somewhere that I’m not telling you where we’re going,” Reid said, nodding a bit and grinning cheekily. “It’s a surprise,” he whispered, giggling softly as he shoved his hands into his pockets, relieved beyond anything that his allergies were finally letting up on him. And if they weren’t, in reality, than Caleb just made everything better. Always. Reid could definitely get used to that.
Reid was now just beside him, his shoulder sometimes brushing against Caleb’s, his hip bumping against his, too -- purposely of course, but Reid was just the type of person who did that kind of thing. He could hear the rushing of the stream -- or, a stream -- somewhere around them, making him guess that they’d reached the creek. He couldn’t tell now, though, because they had finally entered the mouth of the forest, and he once more grabbed Caleb’s wrist -- more for his own comfort, though. But Caleb didn’t have to know that. “Don’t want to loose you,” Reid said with a cheeky grin, pale blue eyes falling onto the other male’s, nodding slightly.

Caleb had caught up to Reid finally and was moving his legs at a ace so he wasn't straining himself to keep up. They should have just taken the boat, Caleb hated walking. But he hated water even more, so he would live with walking. "sleeping just wasn’t on my side last night, it seemed,” Caleb nodded in understanding. Yeah, sleeping wasn't on his side eithier last night. But that was mostly because he was up thinking about Reid. Though he wasn't going to tell him that, he didn't want things awkward between them. "Yeah I am pretty lucky not to have allergies!" He said with a smile. He was happy he didn't, they seemed like a bitch to deal with.
“Well, I was thinking I was going to take you deep into the forest, have my way with you, then leave you there,” If Caleb didn't know Reid better, he would have sworn he was serious. Caleb looked from the forest to Reid and couldn't help but crack up. He bit his lip in order to not laugh to much. "Wow, you don't know how serious you sounded!" He said, his arm holding his stomach as he tried to stop the chuckles from falling from his lips. He took a breath and looked abck to Reid with a smile. though the idea sounded slightly appealing, he wouldn't say anything.
“Kidding, but we’re going somewhere that I’m not telling you where we’re going,” Caleb looked at him with a frown. " aawww come on tell me" He sounded like a little kid. He tugged at his arm and gave him a puppy dog pout. "pwease" He asked with a small smile. They stopped side by side. Caleb looked at the forest then back at Reid, who was standing very close to him. But hey, he wasn't complainging, it was Reid after all. Finally they started walking again, into the forest. He felt a grip on his wrist again and he looked to see Reid's hand around his wrist.
“Don’t want to loose you,” Caleb chuckled and smiled. " Yeah you better not, or i'll never forgive you. that is if I ever found my way out" He said with a smile, walking with Reid farther into the forest.

Reid nodded slightly, silently damning his own allergies as they came up again. Of course they would, though -- they’re in a bloody forest, for God’s sake! Rubbing his nose again, Reid sniffled, “Do you have a tissue?” Stupid question -- not many people actually carry tissues in their pockets. Wrinkling his nose, Reid put out a halting hand as he doubled over in a sneeze. “Nevermind, I’m good,” he said, shaking off his hand and frowning slightly. Shoving his hands in his pockets again, he huffed a sigh and looked at Caleb as he began walking. “I can be serious if I try -- surprisingly. Usually I’m a horrible liar, and I get really guilty and my ears turn red,” Reid informed him, chuckling softly. It was pretty embarrassing, actually -- his ears went red, matching into his hair and he got all quiet and nervous. You can always tell when Reid is lying. That is, when he doesn’t so his absolute best in masking the white lie. He just feels really guilty and such when he does that, and even if he planned it word-for-word, he would always stutter and give away that he’s fibbing. Not a very good thing when he gets home at eleven-thirty on a school night and his parents are bombarding him with questions.
Either way, Reid’s attention was back at Caleb as he tugged at his arm, his shirt pulling slightly and he fumbled to pull it back up over his shoulder. “Wow, calm down cowboy,” he said, chuckling softly. “Don’t give me that look, mister! Reid can easily resist that puppy dog pout -- I have a little brother, remember?” he reminded him, sticking his tongue out. Puppy dog pouts really didn’t work on him, but Caleb’s had that extra thing in it -- wasn’t going to make him tell him, but still! It was a surprise and Reid was sticking to that if it took the life out of him. “I’m not telling you -- it’s a surprise,” he concluded, nodding his hand stubbornly as he pulled his arm from Caleb’s grip and began moving a bit faster, almost in some sort of skip -- just because he could, the path clear enough that he wouldn’t trip over anything and everything.
“Aw, you would too forgive me. You can’t resist puppy pouts, and mine just happens to be the best out there,. And I’m just cute.” Reid teased, turning around with a small smirk before leaning closer to him, lower lip stuck out in what looked like a well-practiced pout. Grey eyes got big and he grabbed the material of the other boy’s shirt -- just for the affect. Reid was already shorter than him, so it worked out -- the ideal pout. At least, Reid would pride himself in such a thought.

Caleb felt kind of bad for Reid. He had allergies, they didn't seem fun. Teah had them and she could be really mean when she wasn't feeling well from allergies, or even the medicine sometimes. “Do you have a tissue?” Caleb shook his head. who carried tissues around with them? he probably had a wadded up napkin in the depths of his pants pockets. But he doubted Reid would want to wipe his nose on that. “Nevermind, I’m good,” Caleb smiled. "good" He said simply, trying to keep up with Reid, who was moving faster now. He hated walking it wasn't his thing, so keeping up with Reid was a challenge.
“I can be serious if I try -- surprisingly. Usually I’m a horrible liar, and I get really guilty and my ears turn red,” Caleb chuckled. It was true Reid could pull off the serious thin, but what was even more cute was that his ears turned red. He was dying to see that. "aww how cute." He said with a smile, his hands in his pockets. “Don’t give me that look, mister! Reid can easily resist that puppy dog pout -- I have a little brother, remember?” Caleb chuckled and shrugged. " Ah well, it was worth a try I guess. " he said continuing to follow a bit behind Reid.
“I’m not telling you -- it’s a surprise,” Caleb sighed, he hated surprises. He also hated having to guess at anything. "I don't like surprises" He mumbled like a kid. But he quickly got over it and kept walking until Reid stopped and turned to face him. Caleb stopped quickly and looked at him with a smile. “Aw, you would too forgive me. You can’t resist puppy pouts, and mine just happens to be the best out there,. And I’m just cute.” Caleb chuckled as Reid moved closer to him, making the cutest face he had ever seen.
Reid gripped Caleb's shirt and Caleb could have sworn you could hear his heart beating from a mile away. He tried to ignore it and act normal. " Yeah I know, im weak. So put that lip back before I make you." He said with a smile, poking the tip of Reid's nose lightly. "And yes, you are just plain cute" He said biting the inside of his lip lightly, his eyes on Reid.

Staring at him for another moment, Reid huffed and straightened up, finally letting go of the other’s shirt. He flattened it slightly, brushing his palms against the material to get the slight wrinkle our, and cleared his throat. “Sorry,” he said softly, laughing before straightened up and glancing at Caleb again. “Make me? Make me how?” Reid questioned him, arms folding over his chest firmly. “What choo gonna do about it?” Reid challenged, sticking his tongue out at him and looking around the forest. “Hm…” he trailed off, cocking his head to the side as a particularly inviting tree branch caught his eye. “Don’t lie to me, mister, I see right through it. You’re just trying to flatter me. Now come climb trees,” he said, giggling as he skipped off to the branch to, as he had invited Caleb to do, climb it.
Of course, being Reid, he has to make an idiot of himself before getting his tree-climbing fun. How? Well, tripping over a log of course. “FUUCKKK!” -- and he was on the ground. Silly boy. Of course, it didn’t take long for him to scramble to his feet and brush his tee shirt off. Smooth… Reid cleared his throat, brushing his shirt of repeatedly until he was satisfied with the dirt amount on it -- or obsessive lack of. He would go crazy if he found dirt left on his tee shirt, and it took him a few minutes to make sure there was none. “I’m okay,” he said, adjusting his headband and wrinkling his nose. “Don’t worry, nothing’s broken,” he mumbled, glancing over at Caleb. And cue the ears. He could feel them burning under the mass of red hair he shuffled around to make sure they were covering, and glanced to his shoes for a moment. Where had he been going again? Oh! Right, climbing tree…
“Right…” he said, clearing his throat once more before carefully moving to the tree and hoisting himself onto the lowest branch. Climbing trees wasn’t exactly one of Reid’s hobbies, but it just sounded like fun. Until he fell off. Which, hopefully, he wouldn’t. “Watch me fall out of this tree and die,” he said, giggling madly as he situated himself on a taller branch, his legs dangling over as he caught his breath and looked for his next step towards the top. Looking down, though he was only a few feet from the ground and from Caleb, it was still pretty terrifying. Considering Reid wasn’t a fan of heights, per say, at least. Brushing his palms against his ears, Reid frowned as he found they were still burning -- he could feel it, it was even more embarrassing. Mentally cursing at the certain part of his body, his legs swung slightly as he shuffled, looking at Caleb with a soft smile. “Wanna sit?” he asked, patting the spot beside him with his free hand, the other adjusting his head band once more.

Caleb felt Reid's hands let go of his shirt, flatting it a bit. He smiled and looked at Reid again. “Make me? Make me how?” Caleb chuckled. He knew Reid wouldn't like his way of solving the pouting thing. so he wouldn't do it. Though every fiber of his body was screaming at him to just do it. “What choo gonna do about it?” Caleb looked at him but then looked at the ground. Kicking the dirt. Finally looking at Reid. "Make that face again and I swear you'll find out" He said with a small smile.
"Now come climb trees,” climb trees? Caleb smiled as Reid went off to go climg a tree. Caleb was a fairly good tree climber, he had to be, in order to sneak out of his second floor window on most nights. He watched Reid make his way quickly over to a tree, just to trip over a log. Caleb covered his mouth in order not to laugh. It would be mean to laugh. “FUUCKKK!” "You all right?" He asked only to recieve a quick answer that he was in fact all right. Good, he didn't need an ingured Reid. That would make for a not so much fun day.
Caleb walked over to the tree that Reid was claimbing up, he stood at the base until Reid made it all the way up. “Watch me fall out of this tree and die,” Caleb shook his head, looking up at Reid then back at the tree to find the easiest way to get up the tree. " Don't worry, I won't let you fall" He said with a smile. Grabbing a hold of some bark and pulling himself up. It only took Caleb a minute to get up to Reid. He heard his question and nodded. Turning himself so he could take a seat next to Reid. His body was turned the oppoiste way of Reid. So he could see him better. His legs dangled over the side, and his eyes moved from the tree, back to Reid. " So what was the point of climbing the tree?" He asked with a smile.

You know what they say: curiosity killed the cat. And Reid was curious; he was always curious. Considering he was now up in a tree, though, and out of Caleb’s physical reach right now, he stuck out his lower lip and kicked his feet in the air thoughtlessly. “Okay, okay fine not again. Promise,” he said, half-assed pout wiping off his face, evolving into a cheeky grin as he folded his arms absently over his chest. That position didn’t last long, though, as he resorted to rubbing his forearm, a cut invisible to his own eyes undoubtedly forming on his skin-- damn twigs. ‘Nuff said. “Yeah, fine, just remind me not to get too excited and do that again,” Reid advised, laughing softly as he shifted over so that Caleb had plenty of room on the branch. Really didn’t matter, though, because chances are Reid would glomp him once he got situated on the thick tree branch anyways. But that’s a different story. “Good, someone’s gotta watch my ass,” Reid mused, laughing softly. Seriously, he had trouble watching his own ass, so others had to do it for him-- keep him from not killing himself.
Reid was what one would call a natural-born klutz-- it’s not his fault; his feet are attracted to things that will make him fall. Therefore, he’s very grateful for Caleb at the given moment. Especially now that his head was rested on his shoulder and he was up against his side lazily. “And if you don’t, you’re coming down with me,” Reid said, giggling slightly as he shuffled and huffed softly. Trees had never been this comfortable before-- must be Caleb’s presence and comfortable shoulder. Yup, that’s gotta be it. “Point? A point to climbing a tree? So now I need to have a point to climb a damn tree?!” Reid sat up, wagging a disapproving finger in Caleb’s direction. Of course, the smirk etched onto his features would contradict his tone of voice, but the redhead was focusing on not busting up in his own little laughing fit. He succeeded, but a grin cracked and he simply returned to his spot on the other male’s shoulder.
“But, really, there’s no point. I just like it up here. And it’s fun. Right? It’s fun?” Reid sighed once more, his hands folding in his lap as he shut his eyes for a moment, brows knitting in attempt to push up his headband. Of course, just the opposite happened and it slipped over his eyes. Frowning, he sat up and adjusted the red band huskily, shoving it up impatiently, tugging at a few strands of red hair in the process. As much as he loved the little colorful bands, they annoyed him to no end. But that would never stop him from wearing them. Of course. They’re like…Reid’s ‘thing’.

Caleb sat down next to Reid on the tree and gave him a smile. “Okay, okay fine not again. Promise,” Caleb nodded. though he did secretly wish that Reid would make the face again so he could show him how he handled it. "Good." He said with a nod and a smile. He looked around then back at Reid next to him. He looked down at Reid's hands and then at his own. He could tell Reid had smaller hands then him, they would probably look cute entwined together. Caleb shook the thought and looked abck to Reid.
“Good, someone’s gotta watch my ass,” Caleb could have taken that one so many ways. Considering Reid did have a nice but....yeah he was looking, so what! Sue him! But for now Caleb kept his thoughts straight. When Reid said he would take him down with him he chuckled. " well, im not in the mood to fall out of a tree. So I'll make sure you don't fall either" He said with a smile. He felt Reid's head rest on his shoulder and Caleb brought one hand up to Reid's head to gently brush some red hair from his eyes. He loved the head bands on Reid, they were adorable, but weren't good for keeping his hair back for the most part.
“Point? A point to climbing a tree? So now I need to have a point to climb a damn tree?!” Caleb couldn't help but laugh. " Well no, but usually people have a purpose for a climbing a tree. But doesn't matter" He said with a smile, resting his hands on his own lap again, tapping his tighs lightly with his short nails. “But, really, there’s no point. I just like it up here. And it’s fun. Right? It’s fun?” Caleb nodded. sure it was fun, being anywhere with Reid was fun. " Yeah this is fun. Anythings fun when I'm doing it with you" He said biting his lip lightly and looking out at the trees. He held back the heat he felt in his cheeks and moved his eyes back at Reid.

“Yeah, falling out of tree isn’t too much fun. Trust me. Broke my leg once, fell outa my tree house. Lacey pushed me, I swear. She’s a little devil,” Reid teased, giggling softly. He really had broke his leg falling out of the home’s tree house, and he still swears, to this day, that his twin pushed him out of it. That would be his cover story, at least. How embarrassing would it be to say that when you were eleven you fell out of your own damn tree house? That is, unless he came up with some bad ass story about how he fell out of said tree house -- knowing Reid, he would get completely carried away. Kind of like his thoughts were right now-- carried away. Shaking his head, he looked over at Caleb and laughed softly. He tilted his head to the side, once more pushing the headband up over his forehead, grunting unappreciatively. Mumbling under his breath about how annoying they were, he almost lost his balance and resorted to grabbing onto both Caleb’s arm and the tree branch below him fiercely. “Wow, saw my life flash before my eyes right now,” he said, wiping a fake sweat drop from his forehead and letting out a soft breath. Fuck that was scary…
Composing himself, Reid cleared his throat and straightened up, placing his hands once more in his lap. “Yes, but mind you, I’m not ‘people’-- I’m Reid,” he said, voice slurring as if he was some celebrity or high class fellow that every knows and wouldn’t, in their wildest dreams, refer to him as ‘people’. But, alas, he was not, and the drama in his voice was sheer teasing that he couldn’t resist, and soon busted up into soft giggles. “Kidding, of course, but I guess I’m not considered as one of the people who need reasons to do things like climbing trees,” Reid concluded, nodding a bit as he glanced over at the other male with a cheeky grin. Reid really wasn’t like most people, but he was certainly nothing extraordinary-- nothing close to that. But still-- he was definitely not most people.
Fiddling absently with the silver band around his finger, he glanced up at Caleb thoughtfully. Of course, he could’ve taken that in many different ways, but he chose the sincere one he was pretty sure Caleb had meant it, and grinned crookedly. “Aw, I’m not that fun, but thank you. Good to know someone has fun with me,” he smirked, nodding a bit. He raised his hand, also having the idea that his own hand was probably much smaller than Caleb’s, as he himself was much smaller. He grabbed Caleb’s wrist and pulled his hand towards him, palms touching. “You have a big hand,” he sang, giggling. “Or maybe I just have a really small hand…” he trailed off, contemplative expression on his face absently as he gnawed at his lower lip thoughtfully. “Hm.”

Caleb listen to Reid say something about falling out of a tree and breaking his leg. "Ouch. I broke my arm once. Wasn't my fauly tho, it was Shane's actually...won't get into that one" He said with a shrug. Shane had pushed Caleb down the stairs when he was 10, broke his arm and a couple gashed from hitting something. He still had a couple scars. He kicked his legs freely in the cool air. He was guessing this Lacey person was family? a friend? eh, he wasn't going to ask. Because it was possibly a girlfriend and Caleb didn't have to know about that. Caleb felt Reid wobble a bit, grabbing onto Reid firmly to make sure he wouldn't topple back. “Wow, saw my life flash before my eyes right now,” Caleb could help but laugh. Removing his arm from Reid. "Your seriously going to end up killing yourelf if you can't keep your balnce" He said with a smile.
“Yes, but mind you, I’m not ‘people’-- I’m Reid,” Caleb chuckled, that was true. Reid was definatly an individual person, but that was what caleb like him so much. He didn't follow the crowd. "Well thats true. You sure aren't like most people. Probably why I like you so much" He said with a smile. His hands letting down of the tree branch and resting in his lap. He tried making it sound like it was a friendly 'I like you' but it was more of a 'head over heels I like you'. He hoped Reid hadn't caught that. "Yeah I guess you don't need a reason to climb a tree." He said with a shrug, looking at the ground then back at Reid.
“Aw, I’m not that fun, but thank you. Good to know someone has fun with me,” Caleb smiled. He didn't have fun hanging with Reid, didn't matter on what they were doing. Caleb definatly liked hanging out with him when he was sober, seemed to work out a whole lot better and didn't make him act like a complete idiot. "Who couldn't have fun hanging with you. Your so awesome" He said biting his lip lightly. He felt the pull at his wrist and soon he felt Reid's palm against his. Reid's hands were warm. They were considerably smaller then his own. “You have a big hand,” Caleb smiled. "Yeah I guss I do." He said looking there hands over. Reid had the cutest hands. How hands could be cute, Caleb wasn't sure. Butt hey belonged to Reid so it made them cute.
“Or maybe I just have a really small hand…” Caleb smiled. He kept his palm against Reid's moving his eyes slowly from their hands and back to Reid. "Your hands are a bit small actually. But their cute. I like them" He said looking at their hands again. The thought of there fingers laced together ran through his mind again. He had to shake it off. But it was easier said then done.

Reid shook his head in agreement, his teeth taking a soft hold of his lower lip still. He definitely didn’t want to get into that; they had last night, and Reid had pried into the other’s personal life enough to last the rest of his god-given life. Either way, he glanced back at him and nodded, glad that Caleb had spoke once more. Of course, the birds around them were doing a decent job at keeping the silence to a minimal, but Reid much preferred the other male’s voice over annoying chirping of birds. Not that he had anything against birds or anything… Or maybe he did. Regardless, he simply chuckled softly. “I won’t, because you won’t let me kill myself,” he said, smiling sweetly and nodding a bit. “Riiiiiiiight?” he sang, giggling. Of course, he wasn’t about to put his own life in the other male’s hands because he was clumsy and tended to fall out of things, but still. Caleb had said that he wouldn’t let him fall… Eh, either way, Reid let the cheeky little smile slip and he leaned back slightly, legs holding a firm grip on the branch below him.
“Well, I try. It’s really boring to be like ‘most people’-- everyone would be exactly the same,” Reid said passively, shrugging and shaking his head. “And you wouldn’t like me so much,” he teased, sticking his tongue out at him jokingly. The mood was lighthearted and Reid wouldn’t have it any other way-- people who were way too serious or took things offensively left and right bothered the hell out of him, he would always feel the need to be so proper and watch what he says, then usually fail, and feel bad. But not with Caleb. With Caleb he could say and do basically whatever he wanted-- to the appropriate extent, I mean. Needless to say, he enjoyed that luxury and freedom. Grinning slightly, he glanced over and leaned to place a soft kiss on the other boy’s cheek. It was harmless, and he wanted to let him no how much he appreciated him-- without words, though, they were always the most meaningful. To Reid. Either way, a muffled giggle escaped his lips as he leaned back once more, his legs swinging enthusiastically over the edge of the branch. He was, for once, holding his weight quite well-- he hadn’t fell yet, so he was good to go.
“Well, I guess it runs in the family,” he said, shrugging softly. His mother had small hands, Lacey had small hands, even his father had small hands. Therefore, it was probably genetic. In this case, it was ideal, as his fingers slid effortlessly between Caleb’s, a soft grin on his face as he dropped their hands slightly. “What would you do if I jumped off right now?” Reid asked, looking over at the other curiously. It’s not like they were on a terribly high branch, they would both live without a scratch. Especially since, if anything, Caleb would land on top of Reid and be fine. Without waiting for his answer, he held his hand tighter and slid off the branch, immediately regretting doing se as he soared the air for a moment before his bum made contact with the leave-bedded ground.
“Ow,” he mumbled, giggling uncontrollably. See, they were fine. At least, he was. Hopefully he would be able to say the same for Caleb. Surely he would, though. Besides, the leaves made for an excellent mattress.

Caleb was glad they didn't get into it. It wasn't fun and he wanted today to be fun with Reid. They talked last night, so today was fun. Shane had problems when he was drunk, so they pretty much lead to Caleb getting shoved down the stiars. His mom just said he was clumsy, she never believed him. Caleb was happy when Reid said soemthing, it broke the semi-silence. “I won’t, because you won’t let me kill myself,” Caleb smiled. Of course he wouldn't let the boy kill himself. " Of course I wouldn't let you kill yourself. Who would I hang out with then?" He said with a laugh.
Caleb nodded when Reid talked about most people being the exact same. It was true. People tended to act like others which made everyone alike. He liked Reid as a individual. “And you wouldn’t like me so much,” Caleb smiled looking at him for a second then back at the ground, just to see how far they were. "Nah, I think I'd like you no matter what. I just like you that much more because you aren't like everyone else" He said brushing his hair from his eyes and looking up to the green leaves above them.
Caleb suddenly felt a like peck on his cheek an he almost jumped, which would have been bad considering they are in a tree. He felt his cheeks get hot quickly and he tried to cover the blushing but it wasn't working so well. He bit his lip lightly and looked at Reid quickly then at his shoes.
Caleb fought off the blushing and looked abck to their hands that were placed against eachothers. Then he felt Reid's fingers slide between his, was he just imagining this, it seemed it. He smiled and held onto Reid's hand. “What would you do if I jumped off right now?” Caleb couldn't help but laugh a bit. He looked at the ground then back at Reid. " Well I think I'd be falling with you, considering you have my hand" He said with a laugh. Before Caleb could say anything else Reid was sliding off to the tree branch, pulling Caleb with him. " whoa" He said as he fell with Reid towars the ground. Reid hit first but then Caleb fell on top of him. "ouch" He said cringing a bit. He had tried not to put weight on Reid so he caught most of the pressure with his free hand and his legs. "geezz what did you suddenly decide to jump out of the tree?" He asked with a smile. He looked down at the boy. His one hand still holding his and the other placed on the opposite side of his head. Caleb's legs were straddling the boys legs.

Reid took a deep breath, just letting himself sprawl out in the leaves, arms extended like a windmill, his eyes shutting for a moment. Surely he would get twigs and leaves and all kinds of other shit in his hair, but he really didn’t care right now. Besides, the weight over his abdomen was quite distracting, causing him to huff softly. Of course, not because Caleb was heavy or anything, but because he was still trying to catch his breath. Even though it was his fault, it was kinda scary. Regardless, he busted into a fit of giggles quickly, free hand covering his mouth thoughtfully. “That was fun,” he said simply, shaking his wrist as he dropped his hand to the other male’s thigh. “I did, in fact, suddenly decide to jump out of a tree. I’m just crazy-psycho like that,” he teased, sticking his tongue out at him.
Reid tended to do things like that, to be fair-- if he was on his roof at home, he would usually go and jumped into the pool or onto the trampoline or something. He gets random crazy, daredevil urges and well, since he doesn’t usually think about things like that before he does them, sometimes not the best idea, but whatever. Either way, he looked up at Caleb with a soft smile, “Didn’t break anything, right?” he asked, shuffling slightly atop the crunching leaves. The only thing that Reid had broken was the other boy’s fall, so he was good to go. Besides, Reid would probably feel pretty bad if he did break anything, he’d get all worried and insist on taking him to the nurse and stuff-- he’d make it out much worse than it actually is. That’s what happens to him sometimes. Regardless, he reached up and traced a small heart over the material of Caleb’s shirt was where his actual heart would be found.
“Hm, this is fun,” he said, giggling softly as he used his free hand to adjust his headband once more. It had been falling efficiently over his forehead, and Reid was a wrinkle Nazi, so he had to jump onto fixing it. Yes, before you ask or realize later, Reid has many headcase qualities.

Caleb tried to figure out what could cause Reid to have the erge to jump out of the tree. Pulling Caleb with him known the less. He looked down at Reid and gave him a smile. “That was fun,” Caleb couldn't help but chuckle a little. " Oh yes, super fun" He said sarcasticly but with a smile on his face. He felt Reid's hand on his thigh and it kind of made him jump. He hadn't been expecting the close touch. "I’m just crazy-psycho like that,” Caleb laughed. "Thats all right, crazy psycho people rock" He said with a small nod.
“Didn’t break anything, right?” Caleb shook his head. He was pretty sure each bone was intact. "I'm pretty sure nothings broke, you pretty much broke my fall, thanks" He said with a chuckle. He felt Reid bring his hand up and trace hearts over his shirt where his real one was he smile, adjusting himself so he was a bit more comfortable, but didn't move from off of him. “Hm, this is fun,” Caleb nodded, being here with Reid was fun.
"H-Hey Reid" He stuttere, crap. He bit his lip lightly and then quickly leaned down close to Reid's face. He wanted to kiss him so baly, but he was afraid of Reid's reaction. He kissed Reid's upper lip lightly, nothing more. He pulled away slowly with a small nervous smile on his face. He can't believe he had done that, again. He could feel his cheeks burning already.

“Good, ‘cause I’m the most crazy and psycho out there,” Reid said, giggling softly as he shook his head a bit. “Not really, actually, that was a lie. I’m spontaneous, not crazy. Or…just stupid. One of the…three!” he exclaimed, basically just thinking aloud. But, that wasn’t fun, so he just glanced back at Caleb, thankful that his voice once more filled his mind. “Oh, anytime. Next time I make you fall out a tree with me, you can count on me,” Reid concluded, beaming as he leaned his head back against the leaves, his neck cramping from trying to properly hold it up to look at the other male. He’d have plenty of time to look at him later, but now the sky was quite of interest, especially during the comfortable, short little silence that fell over them. Reid surveyed the clouds, the sun just hitting center sky-- it was breakfast time now, surely. Reid grinned at the fact that he was, again, missing it, and simply decided to avert his gaze back to Caleb-- especially when he spoke.
The other’s voice seemed so cautious, a stutter-- Reid’s brow rose immediately, pointing with curiosity. “Hmm?” Before he even had a chance to try and dissect his stutter, he felt the other’s slightly familiar, yet foreign all the same, lips against his, his eyes widened for a moment, though soon laying upon the other once more as he sat up. “Oh…” Way to go… Reid mentally kicked himself, his words making him feel like drowning himself more and more by the second.
Okay, so break-down time. Reid is on the ground, another boy on top of him; he just fell out of a tree; he was showing all sort of small affections; and he hadn’t yet slapped Caleb in the face when they were returned. Oh boy, the dark haired male really was affecting him. It had to stop. Or…not. On the note of the latter, Reid’s actions moved faster than his brain himself-- but his heartbeat was definitely a runner up, as it was beating at some ridiculous speed. Fisting the material of Caleb’s shirt, just under his collar, he tugged him down once more, lifting himself so they’d meet seventy-five/twenty-five.
The other’s lips were so different compared to most-- not that he kissed a lot of people, believe you me, but still. They were soft and inviting-- and, if lips could be so, Reid would dub them understanding, too. Regardless, Reid let his shirt go, though not his lips, propping his torso up with his elbows.

Caleb chuckled as Reid went on about him being spontaneous, crazy or just stupid. Reid was a bit crazy in Caleb's eyes, but it was cool. It made him like him so much. “Oh, anytime. Next time I make you fall out a tree with me, you can count on me,” Caleb laughed. He removed his hand from Reid's slowly and placed it on the one side of his head, so he could move a bit and be comfortable. Without putting weight on Reid, because Caleb was obviously a bit heavy. "Thats good to know" He said with his face close to Reid's.
Caleb couldn't believe he had kissed him, again. This time was a bit better then last time considering he wasn't drunk this time. But he hadn't been slapped, so he was guessing he was all right. All he got out of Reid was a 'Oh' he wasn't sure if it was a good 'Oh' or a bad one. Caleb bit his lip lightly. " I-Im sorry, I just... uh..." Wow he couldn't manage a sentence, he felt very stupid. He didn't have to though because a minute later he felt a tug at his shirt.
He was being pulled to Reid. His eyes were wide and his cheeks were still burning. Then, it was like a dream come true, Reid pressed his lips to Caleb's and Caleb could have died. Caleb felt Reid's hands let go of his shirt but they did not part lips. Caleb brought a hand to the back of Reid's neck gently. He kept himself balenced with his knees and his one hand. He tilted his head a bit so he could put more into the kiss. His face still felt hot and his stomach in knots.
Caleb pulled away slowly and looked at Reid, his face still close to his. " I think your seriously the only person that can make me stutter and blush. Just to let you know" He said with a smile. He brought his lips to Reid's again, pressing to them with light force.
