click on the icons Stepping carefully now, just along the path as a girl of a very short height. Skinny build, hidden muscle. Tears were no longer visible from earlier in the day, but instead a smile placed on her lips. "Kiss me, under the bearded barely. . . rightly. . ." she sang softly to an Avril Lavigne song. She remembered the New Found Glory version, and how much she liked it better. Somehow she fancied a change, and stuck with the melodic version of the song. The original. Who was original anymore? Nobody, they were all plastic. All wanted to be the same, all wanted to follow the fashion. Lacey was different. She didn't care what other people thought of her, but she was going to set the record straight; everybody should have an opinion about their sense of wear. Everybody. Today Lacey wore her 'TWLOHA' hoodie, slightly zipped down to show her pink stretch scoop. Her white skinnies were bright in the day, and a pair of her favorite shoes completed the originality. A smile was placed on her lips as she walked serenely down the tree-covered path, branching off into another. Today she would forget her worries, and move on for a day. Just a day, she would forget about him.
Her eyes glanced around, as if looking for something that she had long lost. Sometimes playing around was the way to go when you were under a large amount of stress. Sometimes it wasn't. For Lacey, eveyrday was something to play at. Another challenge and another playground to escape into. It didn't always turn out like she wished it would, and her life was quite the mess at the moment. Still, somehow she needed this day to be filled with happiness. Just for one day. You couldn't always dwell on the past. Life was too precious, and time was too tight. You had to enjoy life while you could. Her face lit up as she found a tree to her liking. Her small 5'1 frame moved towards it in earnest, trying to reach it at a maximum walk. As she reached the tree, her bright highlighter Adidas touched the bark, and arms grasped the branches, heaving herself into the tree. Once up, escaping with only a few scratches, she let out a breath of relief. Sometimes she would fall, her build very small for a girl of seventeen. But today luck seemed to be on her side, and she sat contently on a branch.
Finding it a suitable day, Lacey swung her legs and straightened her arms, supporting herself and balancing neatly. She wasn't any type of klutz, much like her twin. Instead, she was quite graceful. Her height helped in that category aswell, and she represented a ballerina without the tutu and dance shoes. She enjoyed being seen as somebody who was pleasing to the eye. She smoothed down her hair, it blew in the slight summer breeze. It was strange how the weather changed so often at Brunswick. How strange it was to feel cold one day, and the next day wish it were as cold as the day before. Lacey's bright orange, red, and yellow hair stood out like wildfire, but somehow she remained as unnoticed as she pleased. Of course, Lacey enjoyed the attention. She wasn't one to be 'poor me' or gloat about a thing, but she loved to be seen as somebody who knew what she was doing. And boy did Lacey Callahan know what she was doing. Well, maybe she didn't. Avery was still in the way of that fact. Still, she promised herself not to think about him today. Today she would relax and enjoy her life for once. Maybe somebody would accompany her? For now she sat on a thick branch, clearly visible to anybody who would care to notice.

show me the meaning of being lonely,,
Oliver sighed once more, legs swinging precariously underneath his frame as he sat on the porch of his cabin. Hands moved behind him as he moved to shift his weight against his hands, eyes closing as his muddled mind tried to sort through a random array of thoughts that clouded his mind with a threat to confuse him. Shifting forward once more hands moved forward to tug the brim of the hat currently donning his head down further, halfway concealing his brow. Why did things have to be so unbelievingly complicated? There were too many factors and to many peoples problems swirling through his mind, Oliver pretty much wanted to get away from it all, even if only for a little bit. Sliding forward he jumped the small distance that separated him from the ground, landing on his feet and rocking forward slightly, hands moved to tuck their way into the front pockets of his jeans, the ends of his unzipped sweatshirt flapping silently against his legs, though he hardly took notice.
Legs seemed to lead him to an invisible location, though he wasn't exactly trying to work out which direction to walk - rather than to sort out the problems riddling his mind. Sneaker clad feet moved nimbly in the wake of the large rocks scattered in the path before him, dodging a lone branch or two than threatened to bar his way from an unknown location. Finally Oliver stopped in front of a small trail head, once again it seemed, he had come to redwood peak, not that he had pleasant experiences here, no, far from it actually. Shaking his head as if to rid his mind from such memories he moved forward still, as much as he hated hiking, maybe something could happen - maybe then he could clear his mind for a bit.
Reaching the top, only slightly short of breath he moved silently to lay against a tree, it's roots mangling the dirt in an odd, intricate design. Biting at his lip, he tore hands from pockets, moving arms behind him as fingers grasped for the material of his hood as he pushed it over his hat, so only the brim was seen. Grasping inside the pocket of the sweatshirt, fingers enclosed around a small, rectangular object - pulling it forth it was revealed as a small black iPod, moving white buds to his ears as fingers moved over the scrolling pad, looking for an apparent song, it seemed. Finally though Oliver had seemed to make a decision as he leaned back against the tree and let the dulcet screams of some song by Bring Me The Horizon cloud over his thoughts.
Mind wandered further away, so it was no surprise from the volume that his music had reached, that he didn't hear an approaching figure, didn't open his eyes as a girl climbed up into a tree. Of course, this would hardly seem relevant - though still, when the song ended and he opened his eyes once more, he was startled when eyes met a flash of bright orange, thinking at first glance the tree may have been on fire, though was proven wrong when seeing that the hair was actually attached to the body of a girl. Head moved slightly to the right, as if trying to place a name, though mind came up blank. Fingers moved to wrap the cord once more around the small machine as he stood, walking over to the base of the tree the girl was momentarily presiding in.
Leaning against the rough bark of the tree, arms moved forward as he grabbed a branch level with his eyes, though feet remained planted firmly on the ground. "Hey, what are you doing in a tree?" Words flowed from his mouth as eyes tipped forward to watch the red haired girl above him. Of course, some people found it obvious, they would be climbing trees for fun, though Oliver wasn't exactly one with the nature, so to speak, and therefore didn't exactly see a point in sitting in a tree for fun, especially when there could be some sort of evil squirrel hiding in its depths. Well, as little sense as that seemed to make, Oliver's ideas of reality were often heavily skewed, therefore it came to no surprise that he didn't understand this sort of hobby. "You could get attacked by a kamikaze squirrel." He pointed out, his eyes shaded from the glare of the sun peaking through the scant amount of leaves by the brim of his hat.
