Caleb Thai Ryker Caleb shoes hit the ground lightly, each time stepping on a twig or something that would snap under his feet. He wore a plain T-shirt with a pair of his favorite jeans and belt.[outfit in picture] His dark auburn hair was stright and hanging near his eyes, but not in front. It curved at the end just a bit. Caleb continued to walk, watching each step he took. He wasn't watching where he was going, so it was lucky he hadn't run into anything yet.
Caleb kept walking unti lhe got to the small creek. He wasn't sure why he had come here, just bored he guessed. He still couldn't believe his aunt and uncle made him come to camp. Teah never had to go to Camp, why was he sent here. At least he was away. Everyhting had been hectic for him since he was young, never had much of a break. Caleb ran his hand through his hair and took a seat at the edge of the creek.
He looked down at the rippling water flowing past, down the creek to who knows where, probably a lake of some kind. Caleb laid back on the soft dingy green grass, his hands behind his head. He took a deep breath in and out. He closed his eyes. He kind of hated the silence, only because it gave him a chance to think about everything. About Abigail, yeah he didn't call her mom, never would, she was anyhting but a mom to him. He thought about Shane, which gave him the chills, that guy was pure evil and Caleb swore to himself he would kill that guy if he ever got near him again.
Sure he was to young and weak to do anything about it back then. But Caleb wasn't stupid anymore, he could beat that bastard to a bloody pulp. Caleb clenched his fists behind his head accidently pulling his own hair. He cringed, letting go of it fast. He heard a crack of twigs behind him, but he was about to look to see if somehwere was there. He kept his eyes closed and sighed, the peson would make themself known eventually.

For once, Reid was actually up at the appropriate camp time. It was now ten o’clock and Reid had already been quite the productive one today. Of course, he hadn’t realized that it was Saturday, and he could’ve legally-- according to the camp rules, at least-- slept until noon. Maybe it was the hype of the first Saturday campfire tonight that had him up bright and early, if you consider eight thirty to be early. Either way, Reid was pretty proud of himself; he’d already unpacked his stuff, finally, he’d showered, he’d set up all of his belongings accordingly around his bunk, and he’d already checked his e-mails-- no one was out around nine o’clock, so laptops were easy to get away with in some places. He’d made a distinct mental note about that, mind you.
In the sunlight, his occasionally dull red hair was fiery and visible, though the white headband accented quite well to make it subtle and unnoticeable to small-- or large-- crowds. Reid didn’t particularly like attention, and his hair colour deceived him quite often in his request to never have it focused on him. Regardless, black seemed to be his colour of choice today, as he also had a black tee shirt slightly fitted to his torso, a plain black belt, and a pair of charcoal grey, more on the darker side, skinny jeans. Of course, to even it all out, he had a pair of beaten, abused, though still clearly white, vans on his feet-- and, of course, the white headband. Might not be exactly ‘in’ to most, but Reid wasn’t really into what was ‘in’-- it was his own little fashion statement, I guess.
The fingers on his right hand absently fiddled with the silver band around his left ring finger, speckled grey irises focused quite carefully on that very object. When the sun hit the silver in just the right spot, it made the redhead cringe slightly, but he didn’t let it bother him-- nor stop him from amusing himself with the simple little ring. He frowned slightly, huffing a sigh and glancing from his hand and focused on the third twig he’d broken on the walk down to the creak. The running water was once more filling his head, soothing him considerably, but for some reason today just didn’t seem to be his day. It’s not that he was homesick; it was only the third day, maybe fourth, there was no way he could miss his little brother already. So he couldn’t exactly pin point what it was, but the amount he’d sighed that mourning had about quadrupled by about five hundred times more than usual. It was strange.
Grey gaze landed on a male, feet halting promptly, head cocking to the side. Now, Reid usually was a social butterfly, but the brunette just looked so peaceful; would it be rude to interrupt him? Probably. Reid stood there for a moment, the only sounds between the two figured being the rustle of leaves from the slight breeze and the soft running of the water as it passed them calmly. Licking his lips, Reid simply shook his head and moved forward, plopping himself down beside the considerably still figure of the other male. “Lovely day, isn’t it?” he stated simply. There was only one way to find out if he was too concentrated for a conversation-- try it. Right? [/size]

Caleb couldn't remember what time it was when he left his cabin. He remembered his counselour telling him when to be back, but he wasn't sure when that was either. So he would end up chilling here until someone came looking for him, then get scolded by his counselour. Boo frikkin hoo. He felt the heat from the early sun hitting him and he was gtting a bit warm considering his shirt was dark and tight pants.
Surprisingly, Calbe didn't want to think about going home. There was only two years left in Abigail's and Shane's sentence. and all he would be going home to was his aunt and uncle. Teah was at school. This was his only escape, especially because his aunt and uncle kept both eyes on him the whole time. Considering he hadn't ben the star child, drining and partying. He was just rebeling, for the years he couldn't. He couldn't control his actions, they were just emotional scars left by his mother and Shane.
Caleb heard footsteps coming closer to him. He didn't turn his head, but he didn't open his eyes. Well, a little bit, the sun was making him squint. “Lovely day, isn’t it?” he heard a guys voice. Cool, didn't feel like dealing with a girl right this minute. He didn't look at the guy yet. "Guess you could say that" Caleb said finally sitting up so he was resting back on his elbows and turning his head to the boy. Caleb almost fell over, good thing he was close to the ground. The guy was well, cute. more then cute, hot? yeah definatly. Caelb smiled weakly, kind of feling bad for his lame comment. "H-hi im Caleb" He said. sshhitt he was stuttering, no no no. Stuttering only happened when he got nervous, and he didn't need the boy thinking he was a total loser just yet.

Reid resisted the urge to break the silence with his annoying habit of randomly humming. There was never a moment in time when he didn’t have some random-ass song stuck in his head, so that was usually what caused his barely audible, random habit of humming. To some it was ridiculously annoying, to others it went by unnoticed. Regardless, Reid refrained and simply turned his attention back to the other male, brow raised carefully. Judging by his response, and the amount of time it took to get it out, it was a bad idea to disturb his peace. He was about to apologize and be on his way, but then he heard the stuttered introduction.
A grin immediately lit up Reid’s soft features, his hands unfolding from his lap, one shooting out for the boy now deemed Caleb to shake. “Pleasure, Caleb. I’m Reid,” he said, nodding a bit and straightening up slightly. The sun was slightly blinding him, but he tried not to let it phase him-- what kind of idiot would he look like if he was squinting, twitching in attempts to stop squinting, therefore having a slight spazz attack. Yeah, not exactly Reid’s idea of a good impression-- or fun. Either way, Reid kept the grin on his features, friendly and polite as he offered up a handshake. He wasn’t exactly sure if a handshake was exactly considered polite or what-to-do these days, but he always thought it was. Besides, Reid had a hand fetish, and if he was to create a relationship with someone who had clammy, disgusting hands, he knows the first gift to get them-- lotion. An odd fetish and thought, sure, but Reid was just that-- odd.
The silence was, once more, creating an agitating ringing inside his ears, and it just had to go. Reid cleared his throat awkwardly-- not saying that the situation was awkward, just because clearing your throat is an awkward gesture to him, as is the sound it makes-- and glanced back over at Caleb curiously. “So, Caleb…what cabin are you in?” Real nice… Reid mentally beat at himself for such an idiotic question; first impressions tended to be everything, and his was, so far, horrible. He sounded stupid, or something. Reid was quite the opposite, and he wanted to make sure Caleb knew that. He wasn’t about to press it, because that would be boasting, so he let his mind drift to argue about it, really unable to stop it for now.

Caleb was having some trouble looking from the boy. He was very good looking. Caleb figured though that the boy would find it odd if he was staring. So a odd silence feel over them for a minute as Caleb attempted to look at something else around the creek, but nothing else was catching his attention like this kid could. Thank goodness the guy said something, or they could have been sitting here awkwardly for ever. Caleb sure as hell wasn't going to say anything first.
“Pleasure, Caleb. I’m Reid,” Reid? nice name. Caleb looked at the boy now known as Reid and smiled. "Nice to meet you" He said looking at Reid hand that was held out for him. He shook it lightly then leaned back again on his elbows. Reid's hands were soft, a bit small though. Oh well, didn't matter. Caleb just made a point to himself whenever he saw something new. So when he rode his bike, he looked at the different rocks, and compare them in his head. Or if watching clouds. He notices size dfferences, not the shapes of them. Odd child he was really.
“So, Caleb…what cabin are you in?” Caleb looked over to Reid. He moved his dark auburn hair from his eyes and it his lip lightly, not knowing he had. "I uh..." smooth. As if you weren't a big enough loser as it was, you go and forget what cabin your in. Caleb had trouble when he was around good looking guys like reid. He often stutterd alot or mumbled or forgot easily. You would never take him as the kind of guy to stutter and what not, but he was. Until he got to know the person, then he was more comfortable, just meeting people was kind of hard for him. He wasn't super popular as a kid.
"Im in...Yellowstone" He finally said kind of quietly, his cheeks turning a very light pink, he hoped it wasn't noticable. He bit his lip and looked at Reid. "and yourself?" He asked with a small smile on his face.

As if Reid didn’t have a wide enough smile on his lips, Caleb had to look at him with such a contagious, cute little smile, widening Reid’s. Undoubtedly, Reid would end up with an aching jaw within the matter of five minutes, but no matter. Or, well, instead of spazz as a first impression, he would be the little redhead clown-like freak. That would be sad. Wishful thinking though, to Reid, that his first impression was actually decent instead of some hyperactive, smiley, talkative, and slightly awkward seventeen-year-old. His thoughts broke promptly, though, and he glanced down at their momentarily locked hands as Caleb took his.
Nodding slightly, more to himself than anything, Reid let his hands fold once more in his lap. Okay, so his hands definitely passed, now he just needed excuses to touch them. Eh, next time he can just pretend he never met him and give him another handshake. No, that’s sad-- then he’ll look like he already has Alzheimer’s or something, some severe memory loss. Especially considering Reid hoped to see him again very soon after this meeting. So far he was nice-- and it was only a plus that Reid found him rather cute. Surprisingly, he wasn’t embarrassed and stuttery, but he found it even cuter that Caleb was. There wasn’t much silence, though Caleb only set a few words between the short durations of silence that actually happened.
Reid’s brow rose carefully, a thoughtful smirk settling on his lips. Grey puddles in his eyes urged the other boy on, teeth gnawing softly at his lower lip. Once he finally got it out, Reid couldn’t help but let a soft giggle pass his lips-- and yes, I do mean a giggle, though the Reid type of giggle that didn’t pass off as girly. It was rather cute, if you heard it multiple times. At least, that’s what his mother told him. Hopefully he wasn’t being silly believing his mother on a self-esteem issue like that. Either way, Reid immediately felt bad after laughing-- excuse me, giggling-- at him, and let his palm cover his mouth quickly, eyes glazed apologetically and head shaking slightly.
“Mammoth,” he said quickly, attempting to cover his rudeness. “Yeah, mammoth,” he added softly, nodding. “Yellowstone, huh? Is the cabin as into partying as it’s made out to be?” Reid asked curiously, the random questions about to start spurting from his lips with each different topic the two drift upon. Rather, topics that Reid drifts upon-- so far Caleb isn’t coming out the most talkative of the Yellowstone cabin. That would probably change, though, as he must be quite the loud extrovert to have been placed in Yellowstone in the first place.

God, Caleb hated being nervous like this. He never was. At the parties in his cabin, he was all free and shouty. Usually in the center of the party. But right now. his insides were all knotted and odd feling. He wasn't exactlly sure why, he was never good with his emotions. He had to learn how to surpress them when he was younger because Abigail and Shane wouldn't stand for the crying, or the fits, anything. So he hadn't exactlly learned about all these different feelings he had.
This one inperticular was odd. It caused him to stutter, mumble, forget what he was saying, and these knots in his stomach, ugh weird. He looked back at Reid and there they went again, tightening. Caleb bit his lip lightly and looked at the ground. After his forgetful moment, he heard a small giggle from Reid. Wow it was cute, ah there the knots go again. He looked at Reid and smiled softly. Knowing h had sounded like an idiot for forgetting his own cabin. Ethier Rediw as laughing becasue he was such an idiot to forget or just because it was kind of funny. which, if Caleb was in Reid's situation, he would have laughed too.
“Mammoth,” Caleb nodded. e probably wasn't looking very Yellowstone was he right now. All nervous and quiet, so not like him. But he could open up, when he knew a person, or when he was drunk. Ethier way he was pretty happy and out going. “Yellowstone, huh? Is the cabin as into partying as it’s made out to be?” Caleb laughed quietly. Yeah his cabin was crazy.
"Yeah, definatly. It's always, crazy, makes the morning a little harder" He said with a bit bigger smile. See, a whole sentence without stuttering, go Cal! He had issues gtting up in the mornings after a party, not fun. "You should come by sometime for a party. It's pretty fun" He said biting his lip lightly. He wasn't asking him out, just inviting him, right? Yeah yeah. He kept telling himelf that, in order to keep his nerves down.

Reid decided to take interest in something random to pass the silence-- he’d already talked plenty, he didn’t want to seem too desperate for conversation. Having said this, he glanced down the grass he was currently situated in and pulled out a few of the blades, squishing them between the pads of his fingers for a moment before letting two of the three drop to the ground until one was left, helpless, in his fingers’ grip. What the blade of grass had done to him was beyond anyone, but that didn’t stop him from ripping it in half out of sheer awkwardness-- again, not the situation, jus the lack of conversation. Even if silence wasn’t actually awkward, Reid always found it uncomfortable. He liked something to be said at all times-- loud and upbeat was more his scene than silent and reserved.
Once the blade of grass couldn’t be ripped in half anymore, Reid let it drop to the dirt with a soft sigh. His gaze fell upon Caleb once more, head cocked to the side anxiously. Though his giggle was rather random and slightly rude, he’d earned an earnest smile from the dark haired boy. “You’re cute, all nervous and stuff. I don’t bite though, you can calm down.” Reid was known to be completely honest-- no matter what-- and this was not going to be an exception. Besides, it might get the conversation a little more flowing-- because, I mean, it always helps to know that someone doesn’t bite, right? Of course. Reid wanted to almost laugh at the thought it was so silly. But he already looked like a giggly freak as it was, so he kept it to himself.
Makes the mourning a little harder? Reid’s immature side took over and he had to suppress another laugh, his lips pursing slightly as his lips curled into a devious smirk. “Oh yeah?” he managed, muffled by his teeth as they held onto his lower lip. Reid can resist, he can be serious. Besides, he was seventeen years old, that kind of immature joke shouldn’t be funny-- why it so was to Reid was beyond him. Obviously. Regardless, he was thankful to hear Caleb continue. Of course, his next question-- er…statement?-- confused him slightly. Of course it was only an invitation, so there was nothing to be confused about. And Caleb didn’t have to know that he wasn’t a huge party animal.
Once more fiddling absently with the ring on his left hand, Reid shrugged softly and glanced up at him, nodding. “M’kay. Just let me know when. I’ve been over there a few times with a good friend of mine, Tessa Hawthorne. Dunno if you know her or not, but yeah,” Reid explained, shrugging once more. Way to share your life story… Of course, that wasn’t nearly half of his life story, but Reid’s conscious was never exactly the nicest thing on the planet-- having it whisper in his ear constantly was never an aid to his self-esteem, but Reid never let it phase him.

Caleb's eyes wandered to Reid's hands, which ere picking at the soft grass. He looked at the dingy green color of the grass, grabbing a peice himself an ripping in. He dropped it and then reached for a rock. Fidling with it in his fingers, trying to find something to look at other then staring at Reid. He examined it, the dents, the different colors, Caleb noticed stuff like that. It was a bit weird, to others anyway. He through the rock into the creek, with a small plop the rock sank to the bottom and he was once again left without anything to do with his hands.
“You’re cute, all nervous and stuff. I don’t bite though, you can calm down.” Caleb almost jumped. Cute? me? he bit his lip lightly, smiling a bit, but being even more nervous now. god you suck Caleb, stop being a idiot and be yourself. but this was himself, in this situation anyway. his cheeks felt hot, god damn. He didn't look at Reid, hoping to hide the color in his face. "Oh, heh, uh sorry" He mumbled, knowing once again he sounded stupid. He knew Reid was nice, which is why he was even more nerovus.
When he's with obnoxious, loud, drunken people, he has no worries, no knots. They are all just fun. But Reid was sweet, and nice, and plus, not drunk. Making this even harder for him, considering he wasn't drunk eithier. His face didn't feel as hot, thank goodness. Hopefully this nervous thing wouldn't be a habit of his when he spent time with Reid, which he hoped he could more often.
“M’kay. Just let me know when. I’ve been over there a few times with a good friend of mine, Tessa Hawthorne. Dunno if you know her or not, but yeah,” Caleb nodded, looking over at Reid with a smile, hoping his face was back to normal. "Yeah sure no problem" He said reffering to telling him when to come over for the partay! He said something about Tessa. He had heard of her, and seen hr at a couple parties, not best friends though. "Yeah I kinda know who she is" Caleb said.

Reid watched as Caleb mirrored his actions, and he grinned softly. He knew he wasn’t copying him or anything, but he was just interested in what seemed like everything Caleb did amused or fascinated him in some way. But that was neither here nor there-- not now, at least-- so we’d leave that for another day. Maybe when the two are closer. And Caleb wasn’t so goddamned quiet and nervous. Reid perked up slightly, pushing himself off the grass and brushing himself off. He glanced curiously around, turning his attention finally to the water that had just been disrupted by the rock plopping into it. Reid left his gaze on the ripples for a moment, but then turned promptly back down to Caleb as he spoke in a similarly quiet, reserved tone.
Shaking his head slightly, Reid laughed softly and dug his hands into his pockets carefully. The silence was, for once, not awkward between he and another person, it was actually quite comfortable, the sound of the water now just beside him the main source of sound besides their spaced out speech. When Caleb did speak, Reid turned quickly to face him, head once more titled to the side slightly. It was something about the other male that interested him-- he couldn’t pinpoint it, but he just seemed to reserved and quiet to be a boy in Yellowstone. Maybe he really had forgotten what cabin he was in and just picked on to tell Reid. No, probably not. Reid, though, couldn’t help but wonder what the other boy was like in his natural state. It really was a curious thought to the redhead. That would be his goal for the week.
Reid nodded softly at his words, hands pulling from his pockets swiftly as he folded his forearms carefully over his chest. “Yeah? Yeah, she’s cool. Always good fun with her,” Reid informed him unnecessarily, shrugging a bit. His honesty and curiosity would once more take place, though more subtly than before, and he straightened up a bit as he plopped himself on the dirt nearer the water, his fingers dipping inside slightly. “So, when is the first famous Yellowstone party? I want to see Caleb in his natural habitat, Mr. Party Animal.” Reid laughed softly, clearly joking, seeing as he couldn’t have a clue how Caleb was at parties. But, like I said, curiosity was something Reid was familiar with and, well, here it was, completely taking over once more.
The redhead glanced over his shoulder at Caleb for a moment, reaching out with the hand that was still dry to pat the spot beside him. The water was nice, it was cool against the sun’s rays in the air. It was refreshing, even with just a finger submerged. “Come, sit,” he vocalized his request, smiling tempting, continuing to pat the vacant spot beside him.

Caleb's eyes stayed on the water. Silence, again, but not as weird. He was getting used to it. Every couple of minutes it would be quiet then followed by some short conversation. wow, Caleb noticed the oddest things. He watched a leaf float down the creek. He oddly wondered where it came from, he had random questions, why was the sky blue? The grass green? Why we park in a drive way? Why french toast is called french toast? how do people get from here to there? Why malls have those maps when they don't help one bit? He was full of them.
Caleb was trying to hold down his nerves, he didn't need Reid thinking he was this quiet all the time, because he wasn't. He was usually a loud guy, asking questions, partying, drinking. He jsut was bad with new people, especially when they were cute like Reid. He watched Reid get up and move over to the edge of the grass, sitting down and letitng his finger dip in the water. Caleb just watched him.
“Yeah? Yeah, she’s cool. Always good fun with her,” Caleb nodded, girlfriend? He asked himself. That would kind of disapoint him. Maybe jsut a friend, yah Caleb would tell himself that. “So, when is the first famous Yellowstone party? I want to see Caleb in his natural habitat, Mr. Party Animal.” Caleb couldn't help but laugh, it was a bit bolder. He was going to try, and be a bit more outgoing, even though Reid made him very nervous. "Oh who knows, we usually figure out we want to party like an hour before we have the party." He said with a smile, dusting off a couple peices of grass on his pants. He looke dback to Reid. "But i'll be sure to let you know, because the parties are wicked" He said loving that Reid called him a party animal, he was, but he definatly wasn't showing it.
“Come, sit,” he heard Reid say, patitng the ground next to him. Caleb smiled and scooted his butt to the bank of the creek. He looked over at Reid then back at the water, looking down at the ripples of the water. " So I never asked, what brought you out here to the creek?" Caleb askd, deciding he should pluck up the courage and asked a question, instead of making Reid ask them all.

Reid could feel the other’s dark eyes on him, but he wasn’t bothered. He wasn’t used to attention, not so closely like this, at least, not even from his friends. It was odd, but it was sort of comforting. It gave Reid the illusion that Caleb was just as curious about him as he was about him, if that makes sense. Reid was probably looking too far into this-- hell, Caleb probably was looking the totally opposite direction, but it made Reid feel a bit better. I can’t say it made him feel comfortable, because just Caleb’s presence was beginning to comfort the small redhead, but you could say that, too. He traced some random design on the surface of the water, gaze curiously following the ripples as they branched off in every direction from where his finger was. Reid, too, was suddenly curious as to where the water came from that he was bothering, and where it went, as well. His first guess was Leens, but one can’t be too sure-- besides, that lake was the complete other side of the camp and, as far as Red was concerned after four years of Brunswick, the creek didn’t skirt the grounds.
“I would imagine you guys having some bulletin board that explains party plans. Don’t ask why, but I would,” Reid began, nodding a bit. For some reason, he thought about this often-- usually when he was in the Yellowstone cabin, randomly walking about while everyone else drank and pretty much acted like animals, keeping to himself. “With like…a to-do list and a schedule thing that says who gets the beer, or whatever it is you drink, each time. And who keeps clear watch for counselors. And who cleans up. Like it would be somewhat organized,” he continued, shrugging once more. Good, now you sound like some neat freak-- even if you are-- that schedules out everything down to the last second. Real great. Reid rolled his eyes. “I dunno, just a thought,” he mumbled, pulling his legs to his chest and resting his chin atop his knee cap. “So yeah…just…let me know, I guess. You know where I am.” He’d done enough talking, it was Caleb’s turn-- before he said something completely stupid and random, especially.
What happened there? Now Caleb was the talkative one, and Reid was the one feeling silly and embarrassed. I guess it’s in its rightful place now, though-- Caleb is in Yellowstone, meaning he’s probably more outgoing, and Reid is easily embarrassed and loud, each of which they’d already covered. Regardless, Reid’s gaze drifted slowly to the other male as he sat down beside him once more, a soft, friendly, and, more noticeably, satisfied grin settling on his lips now. “Well, I don’t know really. Caleb-radar?” Reid, to him, had a lot of radars. At least, that was his main excuse for why he goes places. But that one was just silly; he didn’t even know Caleb before twenty or so minutes ago. “Seriously though, I was just roaming. And this place is always relaxing,” he said, shrugging softly. “What about you? What took you away from the party scene to come to a quiet place like this?”

Caleb moved his own finges into the water. It was cold, but felt good, consideirng he was burning in the sun. Maybe dark colors weren'tt he way to go on a sunny day like this one. He made funny little designs, writing out his name in the water, then Reid's, then some other random stuff. It was keeping his nerves down. he was dying to ask where water came from, not this water in perticular, just any water. why was it here? how did it get here? Wow, these questions were random. At the expense of him sounding stupid, he didn't ask.
Reid soon started talking about a bulletin board of stuff for a party. It made Caleb laugh a bit. The idea was funny, but it didn't work like that. Everything was done by notes, or words. Because they could easily get busted by a counselour, then end of there partying time. "thats a funny idea, but nah, we have to keep everything quiet, or we will get caught" he said with a smile looking at Reid then back at the water. "But you were kind of right, we usually do assign different parts of the party to different people. Easier to keep it quiet." He said biting his lip lightly. Caleb found it cute to hear Reid ramble.
“So yeah…just…let me know, I guess. You know where I am.” Caleb smiled and nodded, looking at the water again. “Well, I don’t know really. Caleb-radar?” Caleb-Radar, never heard that one before. Caleb chuckled a bit. " Caleb-Radar eh?" He asked with a smirk, looking to Reid. He loved how he didn't even know this guy more then twenty minutes ago. “What about you? What took you away from the party scene to come to a quiet place like this?”
Caleb smiled. the party scene was dea right now. Everyone was worn out. Including Caleb. "Uh, just... needed a place to chill, clear my head from my massive partying frenzie" he was kidding, it wasn't a huge party, but enough to run him down and give him a head ache. "And maybe I had a bit of Reid-Radar" He said joking, he was kind of mocking Reid, but in a cute way, not a mean way.

Reid’s gaze fell on the other boy’s fingers as they doodled against the surface of the water, a soft smile landing itself on his lips. His head titled absently to the side and he shook his head free, most likely splashing Caleb on accident. He didn’t think of that, though, nor did he realize how deep he’d actually dunked his fingers into the water. Either way, he’d shaken them dry, for the most part, and dried them thoroughly off on his black tee shirt. Fortunately it was dark, so the water small, dotted water spots were unnoticeable-- he was a perfectionist/freak about that kind of thing, so that was definitely a good thing on his part. Caleb’s words snapped Reid from his thoughts, and he glanced over at him carefully. He shrugged softly, licking his lips. “Yeah, I guess that’s true. Have you guys ever been busted hardcore before?” he asked curiously, brow raising in a similar fashion.
Reid nodded promptly at his next statement, arms folding over his chest promptly. “Yes. Caleb-radar. Got a probzzzz,” he teased, sticking his tongue out at him playfully, leaning forward into his arms a bit. He quickly stopped and wrinkling his nose slightly. “Partying frenzy already? Damnnn, you lads do start early, don’t you?” he questioned, laughing softly as he shook his head and once more straightened up. Like he’d remind himself countless times, just because partying wasn’t his things, sometimes that was other people’s life. He would respect that; worlds don’t revolve around Reid, anyways. As he prefers it. But, was it selfish to wish Caleb’s did? Yeah, as well as way too early to think so. He was cute, yes, but surely a boy like Caleb was snatched right up already. Probably some pretty scene bird that Reid couldn’t even hold a match to. Not to mention he’d have a penis, and the chick wouldn’t. So that’s the different there. Either way, Reid shook the thought promptly and turned his attention to Caleb once more, brow risen, eyes aware as if he’d been listening to him the entire time.
He did manage to catch him clearly mocking him. His jaw fell open, teasingly, of course, and he let out a soft gasp-like sound, eyes widening. “You’re making fun of me!” Reid declared, pointing an outstretched finger accusingly at Caleb. “I’M TELLING!” he yelled, a slight echo rushing through the wall of bushes and trees that barricaded the water in the creek, still rushing freely, yet unnoticed now by the two boys. The sound created a nice background tune, but they’d seemed to forget about it. “MEANIE!” Especially as Reid exclaimed his last few words-- all in good fun, of course, Reid wasn’t really like that. He was a chicken sometimes, but not so much as he’d ‘tell’.

Caleb got bored of the water. He got bored easily. He pulled his hand out of the water and wipped it on his pants. Then he set his hand on his knee's looking at the water, until Reid said something. “Yeah, I guess that’s true. Have you guys ever been busted hardcore before?” Caleb didn't say anythign at first. he actually didn't know. This was his first year at this camp. But he was guessing it had happened in the past. "well this is my first year and haven't yet been busted, but I bet it's happened in the past, no doubt about it" Caleb said with a smile, his eyes on Reid. “Yes. Caleb-radar. Got a probzzzz,” hehe, that was so cute. He laughed when Reid stuck his tongue out. Man did this kid act two years old. thats ok, Caleb didn't act his age eithier, and plus it was super cute. Caleb stuck his tongue out at Reid. "Maybe I dooo" He said jokingly, he really didn't care about the caleb-Radar thing.
“Partying frenzy already? Damnnn, you lads do start early, don’t you?” Caleb laughed. "Oh yeah, were getting our party on right away!" He said looking among the tree's then back to Reid. He love dhis reaction to the mocking bit, about the Reid-Radar. Caleb starting laughing quite hard. “You’re making fun of me!” Caleb looked at Reid outstretched finger and grabbed ahold of it gently. "Yeah just a bit" He said looking over Reid's arm then to his eyes.
“I’M TELLING!” Caleb laughed. " Aw come now lets not get hasty!" He said still holding onto his finger. “MEANIE!” Caleb took his free hand and placed it on his heart. " Ouch, that hurt" He said with a smile. "Come on I'm sorry, how can I make it up to you?" He asked finally letting go of his finger and laying his hands in his lap.
