what did you possibly expect under these conditions? _______________________________ Sometimes Mandy was just in a haze, and she didn't even know what she was thinking about. Today was just one of those days, where Mandy was just...out of it. Mandy had felt sort of reserved today, which was completely and totally different in itself. Mandy, reserved? That's just, no. Not her at all. Mandy had woken up that morning to see that she had slept all the way through breakfast, and that was the start of it. The start of a day that didn't seem to be too good.
It was mid-afternoon by the time that Mandy had finally gotten out of bed and slumped into the shower, trying to let the feeling of the warm water caressing her body wake her up, but it was no use. After Mandy had stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her, she slipped on some water on the floor of the bathroom and she knew, she was awake. As she trudged back to the cabin and dressed in her black and white polka dotted bathing suit, she decided to wander off today.
Mandy grabbed the "People" magazine that her brother had sent her, and shoved it into a bag as she slid a pink wife-beater over her bathing suit. Mandy slipped on a pair of Old Navy flip flops and bounced out the door, gingerly shutting it behind her. A sigh escaped Mandy's lips as the sun's rays beat down on her basically-bare shoulders. Mandy shuffled in the direction of the lake, adjusting the bag on her shoulder.
Once Mandy reached the lake, she looked around, realizing she hadn't been to the lake that much this summer, at least so far. Mandy kicked off her flip flops, yawning and finding a spot on the sand. She considered laying down on a lounge, if there was any around, but once Mandy had slid off the tank top and slid her feet into the scorching sand, she was set. Mandy hugged her knees to her chest, her brown eyes gazing out into the horizon line across the lake.

Why must the world hate him so? if people thought they were having a bad day then they were way far from what he was into. his mother called him and said that her and her new husband were getting a divorce and that forced his sister into depression, his own mother was tearing apart the family, yet again, for her own good and his father was no where to be found. His dog dies a few days ago, and he has yet to here from his "girlfriend" who had moved away. I guess they weren't dating anymore. It had been a year and a half sense he had seen her. but at least he has a new girl now, Rainey. She was gorgeous and she knew what she liked. and one of those things considered him.
he was really crushing on someone else though, Pippa. She was Rainey's best friends so things are going to get a little weird. what if he falls for Pippa harder then Rainey? What if Pippa actually likes him? Things were getting worse and worse the more he would think. He tried to stop it, but nothing helped. He was screwed. He tumbled out of his bed around eleven that morning and jumped into the shower, the rush of cold water shocked him awake. His "uniform" for the day was a white Harley Davidson t-shirt, swim trunks, and a pair of odd looking flip-flops. he was headed to lake this afternoon. he had to cool off somehow, and he might even run into a girl that he could chat with.
he quickly grabbed some breakfast from the hall and dashed out the door, stepping on the flip flops gave some weird noises, they were the kind with the little bubble things on it. he had forgotten a towel but decided not to go back, he needed to get to the water, fast. he ran to the water and was about to tear of his shirt and jump in when he noticed a girl on the other side of the lake. he smiled and winked, if she was watching him, she would have seen that. he soon tore off the shirt and ditched the shoes. no sooner after that, he was in the water.

what do you consider fun, natural fun? _______________________________ Even though Mandy's family was close by, she still got home sick at times. It was so stupid because Mandy was a celebrity, for god's sake. She toured the world, she was a singer and an actress and was away from the home all the time. Maybe it was because she just wasn't busy at the moment. When Mandy had her mind set on one thing, whether it was making it through a concert or kayaking across the lake, she had her mind set on one goal, and it let her think about that instead of home. But now, Mandy's thoughts were all over the place, and not focused on one thing.
Mandy sighed, feeling guilty. She only got to come to Brunswick once a year, and that was during summertime. Why was she even feeling homesick or any of this? She was just being stupid, she knew it. Maybe she had made herself throw up too many times last night. Oh well, it had happened before. She'd be fine after a few hours of resting. Mandy's eyes were still fixated out on the horizon line, another sigh escaping her lips.
Mandy's gaze was broken as she watched a boy that she had recognized around camp but never really talked to run in the water. Mandy shook out of her haze with a jolt, watching as he sent a wink and smile her way. Mandy smirked back, just what she needed to get back to her normal self. A hot guy. Other than that, it would be nice to meet someone new.
Mandy stood up, wiping the sand from herself and walking into the water as well, stopping when she had come to the boy. "You know," She pointed out, crossing her arms over her chest. "If you're going to be flirty, you could at least introduce yourself first." Mandy smirked, holding out one of her hands. "I'm Mandy."

zachary smiled. this girl was to cute! she had no clue what he was up to, and this, was far from flirting for him. and if he was going to flirt, he would have gone up to her. maybe she just wished she could flirt with him. he smirked at her and ducked under the water with a splash, getting the rest off her semi-wet. he smiled and looked at her brown eyes again, his natural blue eyes as a greenish color. Please, if I really wanted to flirt, you'd know it, sweetheart. But you can keep dreaming. He pointed out for himself. it was true, she could dream all she wants, it wasn't about to change anything. he was already dating someone, but truthfully that doesn't mean anything to him, he will flirt with any girl that crosses his path, but strangly, he isn't in his normal flirty mood. it is possible for her to get him there though, if that is what she wants to do, because she might end up with a bad case of zachary "jaja" davis on her tail and it is really hard to get rid of, unless a kiss counts...
ooc; sorry, i have to leave.

you were made to go out and get her. _______________________________ Mandy still had a smirk plastered on her face, but the smirk dissolved into a playful smile when Zac dipped underwater, splashing her at the same time. Mandy flinched at the water hitting her scorching skin. Mandy dipped her finger tips into the silky water, hoping that it wasn't a bad idea to come out here. Mandy was a very outgoing girl, but at times she could be too outgoing, and perhaps at times when people really didn't want to meet anyone new.
Mandy rolled her eyes playfully at the stranger, her arms still carefully folded against her chest. "In my dreams? Psh." Mandy smiled, holding out her hand. "I'm Mandy Adams." She introduced herself.
[ooc. Aha, it's okay. This isn't much better. -.-]

he smirked at her as he came up. she was a little playful, a little to playful for his taste, but that is okay. she is pretty sweet. it makes him wonder if there could be anything for the two of them later on. they could be a future 'thing' if they played their cards right. and he would like to have that, at some point. she is pretty cute also. who wouldn't want to date such a hot blond? not him. she is pretty hot. they might get along also. Well, nice to meet you Mandy. He smiled softly and shook her hand with a laugh. Oh, did you want my name too? Haha, I'm Zachary. Or Zac if you want. He laughed once more and dived under the mucky water again.

you are the one, you'll never be alone again. _______________________________ With all of the drama between Mandy and Oliver and all of her other problems, she wasn't exactly looking for an immediate love interest. But that didn't mean that she didn't like meeting new people. Sure, Zac was cute, and he seemed nice enough. Maybe a little cocky, verging on a bit of a jack ass, but that just made Mandy wonder what he was thinking of her. "Nice to meet you too, and yes your name would be nice." Mandy laughed, shaking his hand, and then lightly dropping it and returning her arms to their former position across her chest. "So, Zac. Where are you from?"
