CLOTHES
A small girl hopped rock to rock, reciting famous quotes from William Shakespeare's famous play, Romeo and Juliet. It was her most favorite play. Ophelia Carmen Santos had like six different copies of the play and read all of them at least six times. The girl made sure she stayed far away from the lake, she didn't want to fall in. So many germs and animals using it as a waste despository. Gross, huh? Her sunglasses covered her eyes as she jumped. Everyone could tell what she was feeling through her eyes so she kept sunglasses on most of the time. Or she just closed her eyes really fast. The person who could tell what she was feeling most often was Reid Callahan, her like best friend.
One look and he could instantly tell if she was sad or mad. But he always missed that one emotion. Her caring for him. Yeah Ophelia rarely liked anyone but this boy was different. A lot of girls liked him, and a lot of guys, but Ophelia was probably the one who cared about him the most. Or so she says. Most people just call her the devoted friend or his sidekick. But that wasn't true. Even though they did spend a lot of time together, Ophelia spent a lot of her days alone and by the lake, reciting Shakespeare or telling stories to any animal that came by. Plus she has lots of time to kill, for someone who doesn't sleep that much, Ophelia sure has a lot of energy.
Most people thought of her as a child or a big ball of energy. Her parents always told her to grow up and act her age, not her shoe size. This girl liked play grounds, Seaseme Street, and all things childish. Ophelia was one of the biggest kids at heart and no one could change that.
