give me all your hopeless hearts.
So it was probably around midnight, Jenna wasn't quite sure. But what she did know was that it was past lights out and that the lake was so gorgeous at night. The stars reflected off the dark waters, casting friendly glows into the trees surrounding the lake. Jenna knew she wasn't supposed to be out here, but she couldn't help but come, she did it whenever she was feeling lonesome.
Her freshly dyed black hair blew in the slight warm breeze, it had cooled down into the 60's and the weather was perfect. She was seated on the bank of the lake, her legs sticking out in front of her and she was resting her weight on her hands.
It was slightly chilly, even for her, and she was wearing her long flannel pajama pants. She didn't feel like wearing her usual when she was planning on no one seeing her. She had one of her blankets wrapped around her shoulders and she felt completely at peace laying there as the nightlife of nature hummed around her.
In the distance she could make out the glows coming from the camp buildings, but they all seemed so far away and unattached from her. She had even left her iPod back at her bunk, she enjoyed the wildlife so much more without it. And that was saying a lot. She shivered a little, but out of somewhat sadness, she just wished she had someone to share it with,
if this is what you want, then fire at will.
