TIMES SQUARE CAN'T SHINE AS BRIGHT AS YOU ;; This was one of Brooklyn's first days this year back at the camp. And to tell you the truth she wasn't too thrilled about it either. I mean, the camp is pretty cool and everything it just wasn't Brooklyns type of place. She would definately rather be at home, either partying or surfing. She's not the type of person to care whether or not she makes friends here, because really she is only here because her aunt and uncle, who she lives with, made her go here. She did however make some friends, and actually some really close ones. So it makes this whole expirience bareable.
Now obviously the weather was hot, and what better way to spend it. For Brooklyn, whenever she was bored it was always the first thing that came to her mind. Either the beach or the pool. For some reason she actually didn't feel like going to the lake. Most likely because the waves are obviously weak, and you can't go surfing, which is mostly what she does at the beach. Even if the smell of chlorine bothered the heck out of her, and was hard to get off your skin, she was going to go anyway. At this point, the heat was getting to her. Desperate times, call for desperate measures.
Now, there was only one issue. The girl had to actually get out of bed in order to walk to the beach. Some may find it wierd that it was past noon and she was still in bed, but that was a normal thing for Brooklyn. She didn't really have any harcore responsibilities and sleeping is one of her favourite things to do. Even though she had missed breakfast and lunch today, she wasn't upset about it. Let's just say the food here, isn't her favourite. Whenever she actually is up in time, she always seems to be last to get the food and by that time it tastes really horrible.
She could deal without eating for the morning, it was no big deal. She had finally dragged herself out of the semi-comfortable bed and made it to the washroom. Now, she was obviously not going to leave the cabin without any makeup on, but seeing as she was going to the pool it obviously wouldn't be intense either. Brooklyn mearly put a coat of black mascara along her fairly long lashes. She normally didn't wear that much makeup, but quite frankly she didn't really need a lot anyways. For clothing on the other hand, that was an easier task to decide. Of course, going to the pool it would most likely be off to go for a swim anyway. After shuffling through her not yet unpacked large suitcase, she picked out her red halter bikini, and a lime green towel. That's all she needed, to that would be it. Oh yes, you couldn't forget the black heels. Some may find it odd to wear heels to the pool, but really those were nearly the only type of shoes she owned. Obssessed.
Luckily, the pool was pretty close, so she mearly wrapped the towel around her small figure for the walk. As she neared the pool she sighed slightly, nobody had arrived there yet, but she actually didn't mind. Opening the gate, which was difficult to open mind you, she walked happily over to an extended chair, and dropped the towel beside her. She layed down on it, and let the sun now beat against her revealed tattoo'd body. She had managed to pick up some tanning lotion, but that would be for later. She didn't burn quickly, if at all so it could wait.

Mia had woken up that morning like any other day, grumpy and moody. She wasn’t a morning person, and she hated people who said they weren’t morning people but insisted on getting up at five in the morning to do there hair or something. She really was a true morning hater and preferred to spent as much time in bed as she did partying. Taking a quick shower in hope of waken up some had helped a large amount. She had been tossing clothes around on her bed in attempt to find something to wear when she had just given up and slipped on her Light blue dress. Grabbing a bag from her purse and practically tripping over another suitcase she made her way towards the door.
Laughing rather loudly she made her way out of her cabin, with a bag of Ritz Snack mix, or backed snacks as she would call them. Pulling the bag open she threw a few in her mouth and looked around the grounds in search for something or someone to go and talk to. As she crunched down on one of the pretzel’s in the bag she shrugged deciding to head towards the pool area. It was still extremely hot and she knew some had to be there, or heading there.
Grinning she spotted no other then Brooklyn McKenzie laying down on one of the many extended chairs in the pool area. Mia knew Brooklyn from her cabin, and probably would have never even befriended her if she hadn’t seen how wild the girl can get. Mia was one of those girls who rather party then cuddle up with a book. Okay, she rather do almost anything then cuddle up with a book. Opening the gate and practically slamming it back close Mia set down on one of the surrounding chairs and smiled down at Brooke. “Hey, You know this could so cause cancer.” Mia said pointing up and down at Brooke’s unprotected body. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that Mia hated being in the sunlight, she was as pale as a ghost after all.

At this point, Brooklyn's eyes were actually closed and she was starting to feel relaxed. Although, she should have known that at a camp like this, the relaxation wouldn't last for a long time. And her thoughts soon turned into a reality, she she heard the annoying gate door slam behind someone. She jumped in the chair only slightly, because it was rather loud. Obviously whoever it was couldn't control it, but they really should get that fixed. She sat up somewhat, and tryed to see who was coming her way. To her dismay, the sun was in her eyes and only when the figure came closer could she tell who it was. Mia. Her and Brooklyn were pretty good friends. It's pretty easy to make friends here, and this girl was actually cool, unlike some other people here.
She looked over at the girl that was now beside her. She couldn't help but smirking slightly at the comment. Brooklyn was obviously at least slightly tanned, but definatey way more tanned then Mia. It wasn't a bad thing though. I mean, some people can pass for looking pale, and it actually really looked good on her. Brooklyn had always had a slight natural tan her whole life, so she really didn't want to find out what she looked like without it. Mia had mentioned cancer, and she laughed quietly. "True. But it could alsooo make me look hotter." She declared, only joking of course. "I'll take the risk." She said with a smile, as he blue eyes managed to find the other's with all the sunlight.
She noticed the girl was wearing a dress, and not anything well, swim appropriate. "And that. could cause tan lines." She said, pointing up and down in a similar manner that Mia did to her, accompanied with a giggle. Good times, good times. Brooklyn actually liked when hardly anyone was at the beach or lake. It was quieter, and you didn't have to listen to obnoxious people splash around like there's no tomorrow.

Mia tilted her head allowing her hair to fall to her left and out of her eyes. Mia had never really been a over the top girly girl. She didn’t go to tanning salons, she didn’t get her nails down, nor was she obsessed with shopping. She found entertainment in other ways; other wild ways but still entertaining ways. Mia much rather throw something wild on, take tons of amusing photographs, drink, smoke, or just party. The things some girls found entertaining where nothing compared to what Mia found entertaining. Out of control? Mia? Most defiantly. She didn’t care what anyone thought of her and she just wants to have fun, which means those around her usually did have a good time as well. Making people laugh was something Mia had always been good at.
“True..” Mia nodded gazing up into the sky, only to squint from the sun rays. Bowing her head and shaking her head, laughing softly. “Right, Why do I always insist on doing that. Now all I’m gonna see is a bright dot.” Shaking her head and sighing Mia looked at Brooklyn and grinned. “Your gonna risk cancer to look hot? Hate to break it to you but you already do. I mean come on, buy a mirror.” Mia said rolling her eyes in a amusing childish way. “Every time we walk somewhere you turn heads, and I know its not me, because none of the times I was wearing anything crazy.” She said in a matter of fact tone. This was true, last year they would walk to dinner and Brooklyn always turned heads, both guys and girls. She had that girl next door look to her; only sexier.
Gazing down at her dress she shrugged. “Honestly, I just threw it on. I wasn’t planning on sitting out in heat, sweating my ass off.” She shrugged. “I guess I could just take it off but I its kind of a no bra outfit, and I’m sober. So, No change in that happening.” She joked. Mia had never been one to ‘not do something’. Hell, if someone jumped off of a bridge she would be one of the first to jump in as well. That was Mia, always seeking some thrill and excitement.
