And then you threw me up against the wall
Who said that it's better to have loved and lost?
I wish that I had never loved at ...

Blackstyn Estate && School for the Privileged has always had a reputation - hard for it not to, really, considering the choice of students it takes in. Its always been surrounded by stories and rumours, long before it even became a school.
The name of the House itself, Blackstyn, is supposedly derived from the nickname locals had for the house, Black Stain, because of the brutal things that happened there. The Courtyard and the Wall have the bloodiest history - the Blackstyn Wall, conveniently out of sight of the House and Grounds, has been the sight of executions of petty criminals, where the daughter of the Master of the House supposedly hung herself, and most recently where Jaye Jacobs was found.
Jaye Jacobs, a kind-hearted 5th year enrolled in Blackstyn for 'social problems' was brutally attacked. The Everette students are furious, blaming the House of Cassidy for it. The Griffiths sided with the Everette's, although there are whispers amongst them that it was one of their own involved.
The whole of Blackstyn is at war - Jaye Jacobs was rushed away to be hospitalized, and without the real story people can only speculate - the bitter divisions between the Houses are worse than ever, and to make matters worse the school is effectively on lock down, with staff censoring even students letters home for fear of word getting out and panic spreading.
Trapped in Blackstyn, House loyalties are tighter than ever; but simply banding together isn't enough.
Keep your friends close but your enemies closer...
So make your choice. Watch your back. Pick your loyalties.
If you don't, you might just find yourself like poor Jaye Jacobs, Up Against The Wall.
