Why me? I should be the one who ran out of time.
The door creaked quietly shut behind him, his steps soft as he proceeded away from the cabins, snaking glances over his shoulders. Not once had he gotten caught sneaking out past lights out, and this year would be no different. He’d gotten to know that the counselors didn’t really pay all that much attention, but the staff did, which was what he tended to worry about most. Tonight all worries were put behind him, his eyes taking a while to adjust to the darkness, finding the entrance to Redwood Peak, the blond began the very short trek to the peak.
Ever since freshman year here, he’d met one of his best friends at the usual cluster of rocks at the peak on this very day. Jessica wasn’t exactly the type to sneak out, but they’d never gotten caught before. Adventure always tickled his fancy, and this was one adventure he’d never turned down. He’d met Jessica a little over five years ago, through his father and some business arrangement. She was probably the only one who really knew some of his secrets, like the fact that he’d been an alcoholic, and that his brother died. However, despite what he believed in, he’d just said that his brother had died, and hadn’t given in any details. That was something only he truly should know, when planning revenge he couldn’t exactly have the world knowing. The day being just about a year ago, the visions still bothered him each night before he finally drifted off to sleep. Sometimes he could feel the bullet graze his shoulder, and then he always heard the last breath being taken. He had a scar to remember the day by, probably one of the ones that really stood out. No one asked about it, so he didn’t tell.
Once Hunter reached the peak, he adjusted himself on a rock, looking out to where the moon lit a path in the wilderness. He felt drained, just thinking about the day seemed to take even more of a toll on his body than running ten miles would. The blond had a sudden ache for a cigarette, which he’d brought along with him, but hadn’t intended on actually smoking. Reaching into the pocket of his jeans, he pulled out the pack, taking one of the thin cylinders between his index and middle finger. He just sat there with the stick unlit, pondering over whether or not he should even smoke. It was an awful habit, one he should break, but something kept him doing it. Christian was gone, why should he be alive? Why had the shot only brushed his shoulder, and it killed his brother?
Out of both anger and sadness of the memory, he lit the stick, taking a long drag. If he’d been smart, he’d of taken a beer or something along too. No, that would only be giving in to the habit. It was something he tried to fight, both the smoking and alcohol, but it was much too hard to just give up. It drained away all the pain in his life, what was wrong with that? For a moment, he didn’t even mind the fact that Jessica hadn’t shown up yet, it was a better punishment to himself to be alone.
(( Ick. Sorry it's so short && bad. Muse will get better, promise. ))

Time on your side that will never end The most beautiful thing you can ever spend... When Jessica first thought about this, it seemed crazy, insane and she was so out of it, she didn't want this, she didn't sign up for this, it wasn't something she liked to do. Jessica was never a nature person, she hated flies, bugs and those small insects you find outdoors, so her first reaction when she heard that she was going to Brunswick Camp, she was completely surprised at first and then she just went crazy, her jaws dropped, she was so pissed at her father. She had planned her summer already with her friends and was so happy and excited about it. Jessica thought that the camp would be like a totally bad idea, she hated her father and her step-mother for making such a decision without even asking her for her opinion. Jessica stormed out of the room after yelling and shouting at her parents for doing this and went to her room. Well that was the last summer, now she's at Brunswick again she did regret how she reacted at first and how she left without even saying goodbye to her father. After learning that Hunter was going to be here and now that she's actually here, she liked the place, it's true that she's not so fond of nature, but this place was so peaceful that she actually liked it and liked here and enjoyed her time so far, she haven’t made any friends yet, just talked with a few people around here and the girls Yosemite cabin, She was relieved knowing that Hunter was here. She wanted to do so much stuff this summer in the Camp, she was going to have the time of her life this summer, she promised herself to make the most of it.
Hunter was probably one of her few best friends, she met him five years ago when her father was dealing with his father and introduced them, She remembered the first day they met, she thought of him as this arrogant rich spoiled guy but she was completely wrong, Hunter enjoyed proving Jessica wrong every one in a while and she liked that about him, he's not predictable at all and not the average type, She always confide in him as he did with her, she had told him every secret, every single detail and he knows almost everything about her. When she first met him, she didn't know that they'd still be friends even after all those years.
She wasn't the type a girl who sneaks out and breaks the rules, but now that she was doing this it felt good, it's good to be bad Jessica thought. She was sneaking out of her cabin to meet Hunter, they've been sneaking out ever since they came here, She doesn't know how he talked her into doing it, but she was glad he did, it was fun to do something she wasn't supposed to do and liked the feeling, she walked at the top of her toe, and crossed her fingers that the counselors wouldn't catch her or any member of the staff for that matter. She's not that good in the sneaking thingy, yet it was fun to do so, she have never been caught and actually she doesn't know what would happen if she did, but she didn't care really. As she walked out of her Cabin slowly trying not to make any sounds, she looked for Redwood peak entrance. When she finally got there, she saw a familiar figure standing under an oak tree in the darkness, she came closer, she wanted to scare him but she stepped on a dry wood on the ground which made a sound that pointed to her being there. "Okay my plan to scare is a total bust I hope you're happy now." Jessica said grinning.

The night is still young, and the temptation is just as sweet.
At first he thought maybe Jessica forgot, but that was completely unlike her. Anything they promised each other that promise was kept. He had told her a lot of things when they first met, and she’d remembered everything. That was one of the reasons he trusted her with everything he said, she was the kind of person that kept things to herself, unless of course he’d said it was ok beforehand. Hunter never really trusted a lot of people, but she was definitely one he felt comfortable around. He knew he could tell her all the details, no matter how tough it might be to talk about it. The subject would arise when it wanted to, and he’d be willing to share. The only person he really ever talked to about Christian was his younger brother, who seemed to just hate Hunter whenever they talked about it. One minute he’d be asking about their older brother, and what kind of adventures the two had, but the next he’d scream and yell about them not being able to talk about him. The nine year old was pretty touchy about the subject; he hated talking about it, and blamed Hunter for the death. It really hurt him, knowing his little brother didn’t believe in him was probably the worst thing you could do to a guy like him.
The second thought was that she didn’t want to sneak out. It wasn’t exactly her style of doing things it was his. The last thing he wanted to happen was her getting into trouble; it would be his entire fault. However, Hunter was the kind of person who’d take the blame for it, and he was quite the sweet talker when he needed to be. But, a promise was a promise to Jessica, no matter the circumstances. Anyway, who didn’t like to live on the dangerous side every once in a while? The adrenaline rush in itself was golden. Just when you thought you were going to get caught, and then you got out of the trouble, it felt great. Sometimes he felt completely invincible, but even he knew that no one could withstand everything. He didn’t quite know how he ever got his friend to come along in the first place, it was unlike her to even consider it, but she had. Trust went both ways, and when she came along, he knew she trusted him enough to know that she wasn’t going to get in trouble.
The cigarette burned brightly in his fingers, the ambers gently glowing in the blackness. Every so often he lifted the stick to his lips, and with each drag he regretted it. Hunter hadn’t smoked in a couple months, and anyone that saw him with on lit might be surprised. The boy was disappointed in himself, but inside he was just breaking to pieces, this happened to be a controlled way to show it. He hadn’t heard Jessica approach until she stepped on the piece of wood, the crackling causing him to turn to face her. He glanced toward the object in his hand, a somewhat hurt look appearing in his eyes for a split second, not that she could even see it in the darkness. A smile formed, glad that she’d managed to make it up to the peak. “Not quite happy enough,” He said, a light laugh escaping his lips. It felt as though they were the only two people in the world, and as it felt every year, it was perfect. "How's life treating you?"

The Night is Indeed young, But so are we! Everything was so quite around them; Jessica felt that they were the only people up at this moment though Jessica knew that they weren't the only people who sneak out past curfew. A lot of the campers did that and sometimes away in the woods they party, drink and do some other stuff that Jessica didn't know off, she's been to one or two of those parties but never did stick long enough to know what happens next. It was so quite and silence prevailed. Jessica could hear nothing but them breathing. Jessica gave him a smile, "Life is good. What about yours, Are you having fun here?" Jessica nodded as she talked with Hunter still having a little smile on her face.
Jessica looked at Hunter and noticed something strange, her eyes caught the cigarette in Hunter's hand, Jessica knew that Hunter smoked sometimes but she also know that he was trying to quit smoking. Jessica hated smoking ever since her biological mother died of cancer when Jessica was only two, Jessica hated the habit and she told Hunter that he should stop this. Jessica wasn't over her mother's death. Even though she loved Marla her step mother and she's the mother figure for Jessica, but losing her mum at such a young age and dealing with her loss was hard on her, she was afraid of losing people she loved to cancer or just losing them. Jessica knew that Hunter felt the same and understood her reasons; they have this thing in common, him losing his brother and her losing her mother.
Though his loss was greater than hers, she lost a mother that she never knew, the memories of her mother was just fading away as time moved by, she remembers how her mother looked from pictures. In the other hand Hunter grew up with his brother and he knew him more than Jessica knew her mother. But still the fact that they lost a loved one made their friendship deeper, it's like they had a connection of some sort. Jessica grinned at him as she stepped closer and in a blink of an eye took the cigarette off of his hand, "Helloooo…Cancer!" Jessica said trying to sound angry. "How many times do I have to tell you that I hate it when you smoke." Jessica said grinning. She didn't throw the cigarette away in case Hunter wanted it back, she was kinda angry at him for this but kept it just in case, she wasn't also going to give it back. If he wanted it back then she'll talk him out of it. She'd also rather if he smoked it in front of her then doing it behind her back, though she didn't think that Hunter would do such thing especially if she made him promise her. Hunter was never the guy who broke his promises and she trusted him. If he said that he wasn't going to do it then he won't… Jessica stood there waiting for him to reply and raised her eye brow at him while placing a hand on her hip and on the other hand held the cigarette between her two fingers. "So?"

Throw away my pain, get rid of the bad intentions.
Hunter hadn’t exactly been feeling up to partying that night, and plus, he always promised to meet Jess up here, and he didn’t break promises. Whether it was the constant partying that made him feel sick, or the food and lack of sleep, he didn’t know. All he did know, was that he felt terrible, and blamed it on himself. The only reason he was smoking right now, was because he was blaming himself all over again for his brother’s death. He had a knack for putting the blame on himself for things, it was like some kind of punishment in a way. He looked back to Jessica when she spoke, nodding lightly. “Maybe a little too much, if that’s possible,” He said, a smile soon appearing. Fun came easy at Camp Brunswick, period.
He could feel her eyes on him, lingering for several moments at a time. A first he began to wonder what she was so interested in, he was the same old Hunter Townsend that he’d always been. His gaze shifted back out to the wilderness, his eyes catching sight of the cigarette between his fingers. He wanted to kick himself right now, she hated it when he smoked. She’d lost her mother to smoking, and he knew that. It took even the slightest memory to tip him off. His shoulders slumped, and he prepared to let it drop to the ground, followed by a scrape with his sneaker, and it would be out. Jessica always seemed to keep him in line, whether it was the smoking, drinking too much, or whatever else, she was there when he really needed her most. Now, he needed to give in when she put him up to it. It seemed only fair, and plus, he was working his way to an uncomfortable life smoking, something Christian wouldn’t be proud of.
Both he and Jessica had lost someone they cared about, which was even more of the reason they tried to watch out for each other. It was kind of like a silent connection, because they didn’t really talk of it, but it was still there, and they were thinking of it. Within a few moments the cigarette was gone, and he looked toward her to see that she had it in her hand. He was glad, he didn’t want to have to be the one to force himself to put it out, then what battle would he be winning? “Sorry,” He mumbled, moving to take it from her, but not to smoke, he’d be putting it out. However, she was quicker than he was, and moved out of his grasp. “I know, I know… I’m sorry,” He repeated, putting on a forceful smile, one you could tell was completely fake. He really was sorry, and you could tell by the way his voice wavered through each sincere comment. He wouldn’t want to be reminded of a loved one’s death either, so why would he put her through that? Not a lot would really remind him of Chris besides guns, certain clubs, and men. Hunter never trusted men, so when he was forced into contact with them, he grew very bitter, and possibly angry. The couple days after the accident in school, he was a mess, talking back to the male teachers, and just staying away from them. However, he soon grew to realize that he was judging them, and they deserved a little better than that. “I promise,” He smiled sweetly, digging into his pocket for the rest of the cigarettes. It was all he brought to camp, and he was prepared to get rid of every single one. “Now, put that out, and lets see that arm of yours,” The smile widened, and he motioned for her to throw the remainder of the cigarettes from the peak.

At the end of every tunnel there's always light! Jessica looked him in the eyes, she didn't want to be hard on him, she didn't know exactly what is he going through, he told her about her brother but he didn't tell her the details, although Jessica felt that Hunter blamed himself for what happened to his brother Christian. Jessica knew that he blamed himself, Hunter's drinking was out of control, she was around whenever he needed her and she tried to make him stop those bad habits, starting with his smoking then to the other habits. Jessica drinks occasionally and whenever there's partying involved, Although Jessica wasn't much of a party person but every once in a blue moon she breaks out of her shell and party hard with her friends, she likes to have good time and drink with her friends, though she thought That Hunter's drinking problem was a little out of control, that’s why she always tries to be around him whenever he's partying.
Jessica knew that Hunter would do the same for her; he was always there for her. Whenever she gets in trouble Hunter is and always was the first one to be there for her. He was a good friend she was afraid of losing him just like she did with her mother. That’s why Jessica was always trying to be with him wherever he goes, specially if it was parties, the temptation in parties is just so strong, Jessica even started not to drink in parties or whenever they're together just to be supportive, she felt like if she had to give up drinking then she'd do it for Hunter in a heart beat. Hunter was the only person she feared of losing, she didn't want to lose her step-mother or her father, or anyone else she loved for that matter but Hunter meant something else to her, she didn't know why but he was special to her. "You should be sorry." Jessica said as her eyes shifted between the cigarette in her hand and him. Jessica saw that he was seriously sorry; she heard it in his voice as it wavered. She could tell it was sincere. Jessica looked at Hunter and smiled, she didn’t throw the cigarette out instead she held it up and lifted her hand with the cigarette on up and brought in close to her mouth and took a smoke. She wanted to joke about it she wasn't going to smoke or anything but when she brought it closer to her mouth she thought what the heck she'll see why do people like to smoke, she have never tried to smoke before, this was going to be the first time she'd do something like that. As soon as Jessica took a smoke and inhaled it she started coughing. She threw the cigarette out of her hand. "What do you like about it anyway…" Jessica said in an intermittent voice as she coughed again.
Finally when the coughing episode stopped she grinned at Hunter, "Where's the cigarettes pack, hand it over buddy, there's no smoking for you from now on." Jessica said as she stretched her hands to take the cigarettes pack from Hunter, she motioned her hands as if she was saying hand it over. She waited for him to give her the cigarettes as she flashed him the sweetest smile she could come up with. "Hand it over Mister." Jessica said sarcastically when she took it and threw it away. "Seriously dude, I dont wanna see you smoking again, you promised." Jessica said smiling, she sounded concerned.

A bullet may have shed my blood, but it drained all of his.
Hunter had developed the smoking habit shortly after he’d begun drinking. Everything made his life so much easier, but he found that basketball became a lot harder. Breathing was important when it came to running and playing, something he didn’t want to jeopardize. So, he’d quit like a month after he started, and didn’t start up again until his brother passed. His mother would have been off the wall if she knew one of her boys was smoking, she’d always hated that kind of thing, but she was never around enough to really care.
He knew that Jessica didn’t drink too often, but Hunter did. He would have brought along a bottle of Vodka, but it wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to bring along. It was looking pretty good now, especially because he didn’t have a cigarette in his hand. A lot of people knew he was trying to cut back, but he seemed to only want it more. So, the boy rested against the oak tree, enjoying the night with his friend. She’d get his mind off of things, or maybe he’d finally unload it all onto her. A broken boy couldn’t keep a lot inside, you know.
“I am, really,” He said, his eyes meeting hers for a moment. He wanted to tell her about Christian, he really did, but it was a matter of getting it out that made everything so hard. He liked that she didn’t try to pry it out of him, like a lot of other people had after the accident. He could remember being in a room at the jail, being questioned, hand cuffs wrapped around his wrists. They had a gun, they had a kid, and they had a body. It was the bartender who had told the police what actually happened, and it was a little girl who’d been walking on the streets who gave away a brief description of the guys, but they still hadn’t nailed them. It was frustrating, and sometimes he just wanted to go out there himself, and get it over with.
An eyebrow raised as his friend lifted the cigarette to her lips, preparing for the usual coughing fit that non-smokers went through. He only smiled and shook his head, watching as she began coughing, and threw the stick to the ground. Cautiously, he ground the item into the ground with the toe of his shoe, laughing slightly. “I don’t like it, and I never have… It’s kind of like alcohol, it makes the pain go away,” He responded, his gaze shifting to the sky. The stars lit up the entire area, the moon full in size.
Hunter didn’t mind her being concerned, actually, she was helping him out by getting rid of his cigarettes, and so he handed them over. He sighed, sinking down to a sitting position in the grass at the base of the oak tree, his gaze still on the sky. “It was a week before today, he died on that date,” It was a start, the beginning to what he hoped to finish. “That gun was aimed at me, I was supposed to be the one who’s dead right now!” Anger and frustration welled inside him, and it showed through the tone of his voice. His hand went to his right shoulder, resting just where the long scar was. Within a matter of moments he was back to his feet, tempted to pace back in forth. Christian always had so much more to live for, he got good grades, he had a girlfriend at that time, and he’d already gotten accepted to college, with a full ride on a scholarship. Hunter had nothing.

The Lies they have told me...Jessica watched Hunter as he rested against that Oak Tree, now that they were done with the cigarettes matter Jessica wanted to talk with him, ever since they came here they didn't talk as much although they've been meeting here almost every night but she felt as if they were getting busy with other people and friends. Jessica knew that Hunter kept something from her about his brother's death but she didn't ask so many questions. She wanted him to tell her by himself, she wasn't going to pressure him into telling her, Jessica knew in her heart that what happened that night is what made Hunter turn to alcohol and smoking. Maybe it was his way of getting things off of his mind and forget, although she doubt it, she doesn't think that alcohol was really going to make him forget. Jessica understood what Hunter was going through and she wanted him to understand that whatever happened that night, it wasn't his fault.
Jessica saw Hunter raising his eyebrow at her when she tried to smoke followed by a smile and then laughing slightly. "Do you really believe that smoking makes the pain go away, I mean I can understand the whole drinking concept. But the smoking…hmm I don’t think so." Jessica said as she thought about it, she wanted Hunter to quit smoking and drinking but if she had to choose she'd pick smoking for him to quit, she really hated smoking. Alcohol is another story, Hunter's drinking problem can be fixed the minute he stop blaming himself for his brother's death he'll quit the drinking thingy. Jessica looked at Hunter and saw him looking at the sky; she did the same and looked up at the stars and the moon. "Do you really believe that they're watching over us?" Jessica said a low tone voice. Jessica knew that Hunter did understand what she was talking about. As a kid whenever she looked at the sky her father told her that her mother will be watching over her and even though she's all grownup now, she knows that it's not true but kinda believed it as well. "I mean like a part of me still wants to believe its true...
Jessica wasn't prepared for what she was about to hear. She didn't see that coming at all. Jessica heard the anger in his voice, she hoped that she could ease the pain and tell him that it's okay but she couldn't, she was kinda shocked, up until now Jessica didn't know what Hunter went through the night his brother died but now she knows that there were guns involved and the gun was aimed at him. She wanted to know more about the story, what happened, why it did happen, but now it wasn't the time. She has to be here for him not investigating the thing. "Hunter am so sorry to hear that, but stop blaming yourself. Jessica said as she moved closer to him, when she was behind him she put her hand on his shoulder. "Hunter…. Stop beating yourself over it, he wouldn't want you to do this now would he?" Jessica said trying to cheer him up, she wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing, maybe talking about this with him would make him feel better. Jessica wanted to help Hunter but she didn't know how or what to do.

The stars lay above && you wonder what they'd look like if you were in love.
Hunter missed talking with Jessica, she always seemed to make things better, no matter how bad they were to him. He hated unloading on her though, his problems were his problems, end of story. He wasn’t the kind of guy that wanted help, he might need it, but he sure didn’t want it. However, it was nice once and a while to have someone that actually wanted to help, and he now knew that her help was worth it. Sometimes he just had trouble with letting people in, but the hardest part of the whole thing; was letting them stay in. Pushing people away, especially Jessica, wasn’t what he really wanted to do, it just happened. So tonight, he let her stay there, and for once, he felt relaxed.
He knew exactly why she wanted him to quit drinking and smoking, he’d of worried about the same thing over her. She was special to him, someone he could actually talk to, and losing her would crush the other half of him, the half that remained standing after Christian died. He and his brother couldn’t really talk, and honestly, they never had true fun, it was always doing something they were supposed to. Just as he would have for his brother, he’d take a bullet for her any day.
He shook his head, laughing softly at the comment. “Not at all, it’s just a habit, and last time I checked, I quit,” He smiled not so forcefully, gently pushing her with his shoulder. “A promise is a promise, and a Townsend always keeps their promises,” He added, making sure that she knew he wasn’t going to smoke. He’d be just as worried if she were in his shoes, possibly even more. That was one promise he intended to keep, and there were a lot more in the making.
The smile widened into a true smile, his gaze shifting to the sky, but every so often he’d glance down to Jessica. “Of course,” He paused, taking in a deep breath of the fresh air. “They’ve got to make sure we’re not doing anything stupid, and that we’re hanging around with the right kind of people,” He added, his eyes tracing the stars and different constellations. He could remember stories that all the neighborhood kids would tell each other when they sat on the roofs of big buildings. One of his best friends at the time always said that they were talking to you, and if you listened close enough, you could hear them. He wasn’t sure if that was exactly true, but he knew they were up there, laughing and joking about the mistakes the humans were making. “What do you think your mother would be saying right now?”
Hunter didn’t want to talk about the death part, the happier memories were easy to relive. He honestly didn’t know whose fault it was, had hunter provoked the shooting? Had it been all planned out already? After all, his brother did owe them money. He brushed her first comment off, but chose to respond to the second. “No, but…” He stopped himself, was there a ‘but’ in this equation, or was Jessica right? His brother wouldn’t want him to worry about it, and part of him knew it wasn’t his fault. “I wonder what he’d say if he were here now,” A half smile slowly appeared, as if trying to cheer himself up a bit.

It takes billions of stars to shine upon us, But it takes only one to light our lives! When Jessica first met Hunter, she didn't know much about him and at first when they started talking when they first met at the party their parents introduced them in, Jessica didn't have the slightest idea that they'd come such a close friends, Jessica found in Hunter the friend and the brother. She found in him things that she didn't find in others, even her family and people close to her. Hunter and her have things in common, even though they're somehow different but still they have something in common and maybe more than she expected. Even though Jessica was surrounded by people who loved her and cared about her, her father, her step-mother and her brother were always there by her side. Even when her dad remarried again Jessica thought that this woman would be evil but she was nice, Olivia was there for her as a mother figure and an older sister. But somehow Jessica always felt alone and that nobody understood her until Hunter came into the picture. Jessica felt that Hunter was the only one who actually understood her, they could talk for hours, they can even talk without actually talking; their eyes can do all the talking. That’s actually how deep their relationship and their friendship is. She felt as though Hunter was her second half.
Jessica looked at Hunter when he spoke, "Yeah, yeah I should give you some credit I mean it was only a cigarette, thank god I came before you started smoking, am a life saver." Jessica said sarcastically and smiled at him Jessica knew that Hunter always kept his promises, she wasn't worried about that at all, she knew that once he promised her, he won't smoke again. Hunter was a man of his word and Jessica trusted him and she knows him well enough to know that he will stand by his word. "I'm not worried, I know that you'll keep your promise, you always do and that’s what I like about you." Jessica said sweetly.
Jessica's eyes shifted between Hunter and back at the sky, the full moon, the bright stars and the clouds hovering over their heads. It was a picture perfect. It was like an image taken from some story book. Jessica's eyes were focusing on Hunter now as he started talking. She watched him as he looked at the sky his eyes following the stars, Jessica felt that she wanted this to last forever. Jessica tucked a strand of hair behind her ears she kept her eyes locked on Hunter as he continued looking up at the sky. It wasn't until Hunter asked her what would her mother say that Jessica actually looked up at the stars and thought about what did he just ask her. What would her mother say to her, she doesn't know what her mother would say but she knows what would she say to her mother, she wanted to tell her so much stuff, Jessica always went to her mother's grave and talked with her, although the past year she didn't do that much, Jessica felt guilty not visiting her mother's grave for almost a year, She kinda felt guilty that she was moving on with her life and she allowed the memory of her mother to fade away. Jessica realized that she'd been silent for a minute and didn't answer Hunter's question. She looked back at him, "You know what she would say, she'd tell me that it takes millions or even billions of stars to light the sky, but it only takes one person on earth to light my life and that person is you Hunter. Jessica said as she took a deep breath, she didn't know why did she say that to him, but it felt right and it was right, Hunter is the one who lights her world.
Jessica kept her eyes on Hunter hearing him talking about Christian, "I know what would he say, he'd say Hunter get over yourself the whole world doesn't revolve around you it revolves around Jessica, so stop blaming yourself and enjoy your life." Jessica said smiling she was actually trying to cheer him up. She smiled but looked more serious, "What do you think he'll say really? I think that now he's dead he would've wanted you to live the life he'd never have and never will." Jessica said she felt stupid saying this but she wanted to help him out and try to let him get that off of his shoulders.

Freeze this moment, Take a picture, Make everything last forever.
Hunter remembered everything, including the day he and Jessica had met. His father had said he’d be meeting one of his business partner’s daughters, and all he could think was he’d come face to face with some snobby little rich girl. He’d stumbled upon her without really being introduced, quite literally actually. She’d been sitting on the front steps leading into the house, and as clumsy as he could be, he ended up not noticing her, and gracefully ended up lading smoothly in the grass. So, they’d got to talk, and it had led to a great friendship.
Jessica was an easy person to talk to, she always listened, and she spoke her mind. He’d been able to talk to his brother, but usually the guy didn’t give him his full attention, and if he did, he’d probably laugh in his face. The only serious conversation they’d had was when they’d been coming home from one of Christian’s dutiful robberies. It just involved him picking up a stolen car and transporting it to the new owner, and then pocketing the cash. The cops had caught on, and because his brother had been at the wheel, all the charges would have been brought down on him. Hunter was always known for being a sweet talker to get himself out of trouble, and he’d done just that. It seemed to have won over enough respect to gain a couple minutes of true brother-to-brother talking time. But, he didn’t have to work for a relationship with Jessica, and it came naturally.
He smiled at her lifesaver comment, which could potentially have been true if he continued to smoke. “What do you charge, Miss Milano? I might need someone to save me every now and then,” He joked, pulling out his wallet to use as some sort of prop. He’d probably be broke if she actually charged for every time she saved him, whether it was from a bad choice, or bad mood, she was always there. He’d just have to save her someday, after all, one hand washed the other, and he’d have to repay the favor. “Good, worrying isn’t good for you,” He grinned, his forefinger gently tapping her nose in a playful manner.
The night was simply perfect, to be simple about it. The air was crisp, not too cool, and not too hot, it was comfortable. Hunter always loved the night, it was the most interesting time of day, and probably the reason he never really got to sleep. He was always focused on everything around him, and the noises the darkness provided were a lot different. Now, all you could hear was the chirping of the crickets, their breathing, the wind against the trees, and the occasional howl of a coyote. The doctors had given him pills as a child so he’d be able to get some rest for school, but after a while he stopped taking them, nighttime was too wonderful to waste. He could remember the countless nights that he spent swimming in the pond behind their house, lounging on the fire escape of his father’s work building with a childhood friend, and just laying in the grass watching the sky. One of those summers had been a small meteor shower, but this summer was supposed to have one of the biggest. Like any childhood excitement of his, he was looking forward to it. The night would be one he’d take off from partying to relax, maybe meet up with Jessica again to watch it. They’d watched the first one together, so what was different about this one? He enjoyed her company better than anyone else here, she was the incomplete half of him, and every once in a while it was nice to feel whole again.
The blond looked toward her as she spoke, taking her words in, a warm smile crossing his features. Just by the way she talked about her mother, it made him wish he’d gotten to meet her. His mother wasn’t the sweetest woman in the world, she was worn down and bitter because of her husband and work, but her mother seemed so… Collected. It was like she knew exactly what the meaning of life was, and she couldn’t wait to share it. “I wish I could’ve met your mother,” He said, still thinking about Jessica’s words. Was he really that light that seemed to light her life? “Tell me, what is it exactly that you like about me?”
It wasn’t bothering him at all talking about his brother; in fact he kind of liked it. The two were so similar, and he often got the comment about wishing they’d met Chris, but they really already had. Christian had a few different qualities about him, but for the most part they were a lot alike. Hunter laughed at her guess on what he’d say, which was in fact what he’d probably say. He was always a tease, which was exactly what seemed to be based on in the statement. He didn’t really know what his brother would say, but from past experiences, if he were truly talking from his heart, he’d say something smart, almost sweet. Hunter tended to show what Christian hid. “First he’d quote something from Shakespeare,” He pointed out, glancing in her direction before continuing. “‘The Sun itself sees not, till heaven clears’, probably, it just seems to fit. Then he’d tell me what it meant, which I honestly couldn’t tell you… He’d say that I had to live my life like there was no tomorrow, and take chances that no person would take, but he’d advise me to choose wisely. Then, he’d probably tell you to keep an eye on me, take over his job in a way.”

"O cunning Love! With tears thou keep'st me blind, lest eyes well-seeing thy foul faults should find." Jessica looked Hunter in the eyes as she grinned, and her nose wrinkled as she grinned, she stretched out her hands when she saw him pulling his wallet out. "You know it's my part time job Mr. Townsend to keep an eye on you." Jessica said as the smile on her face widened and her dimples appeared on her cheeks. "Yeah, you got a point there, me and worrying we don’t blend in well that’s your job; you're always worried you should loosen up a bit." Jessica said referring to him worrying about his brother's death and everything else.
Hunter was there for Jessica a couple of years ago when she blended with the wrong crowed, he helped her get through it and was always there for her, although Jessica's problem wasn't a big deal, her rebellious phase didn't last that long, it was only for a couple of weeks and almost everyone was upset with her, she treated Hunter badly and Wyatt her brother as well, they both were there for her though. Her rebellious phase ended because of Hunter, she didn't want to lose him over stupid things, he was the one who was able to put her on the right track and she hoped she'd do the same for him.
Jessica's father used to tell her stories about her mother, every night since Jessica was old enough to understand what happened to her mother, her dad came at night while tucking her in her bed instead of telling her stories about princess and lost lands he used to talk for an hour about her mother, how they met, what was she like and all those stuff that Jessica wanted to know. Jessica's mother died of cancer when Jessica was only 2 years old so she didn't get the chance to really see how her mother was. "I wish I could've met her as well, you know admitting this is hard but I really do miss her and what's harder and the thing that really bothers me is that I don’t remember how she looks like. Jessica took a deep breath and sighed before continuing, "I've only seen pictures of her, that's how I know what she looks like, but in fact I don’t have actual memories of her, do you think it's weird?" Jessica asked Hunter.
Jessica stood up and flipped her hair, she started pacing, "What do I like about you, what kind of questions is that Hunter, I mean 5 years and you haven’t figured it out yet…" Jessica said smiling she was teasing him in away and trying to answer him, what does she like about Hunter, she likes so many things about him, when she was younger she also had a crush on him but now everything was normal… or wasn't it? "Let's see, I don’t really know…" Jessica shook her head as she grinned and her nose wrinkled. "No really I like your personality, I like the way you smile, I like how you're protective of your friends and family and that you actually care." Jessica said and stopped for a while then before he talked she said all of a sudden, "What I like about you, you really know how to dance." Jessica said and giggled…
"O cunning Love! With tears thou keep'st me blind, lest eyes well-seeing thy foul faults should find." Jessica continued Shakespeare's sonnet, he's her favorite writer and just this morning she was reading Shakespeare's sonnet and came across this quote, she didn't think that she'll be using it this soon. "I think then he'd be right, you should live your life like there's no tomorrow, and choose wisely along the way, you'll come across so many things in your life, you'll miss your brother, you'll wish he was alive, I do this sometimes but I honestly think that we need to let go and make them proud." Jessica said as she looked up at the stars again and pointed to a constellation. Jessica rested her head over his shoulders. "It'll be my pleasure to take over his job and keep an eye on you buddy. But on one condition…" Jessica said as she stood up and stretched her hands to help him stand up as well. "Dance with me now! Will you?" Jessica said, she was trying to do something fun, she doesn't know how she came up with such an idea but it was something of the moment, something instantaneous. Even though there was no music playing, she felt like that's the thing she wanted to do now with Hunter.

I want to tell you, I want to let it out, because I think I might just be in love with you.
Hunter smiled, trying to ignore how cute she looked when she wrinkled her nose. He broke their gaze for a moment or two, biting his lower lip self-consciously. It had only been a few years ago that he’d developed a crush on his friend, but he’d buried those feelings, were they now coming back? He silently willed himself to collect all his emotions, taking a deep breath; he looked back toward her while she spoke. “One should get paid for all that hard work,” He grinned broadly, resting his head back against the trunk of the oak. “I’m not always worried, I’m not worried now,” He pointed out, trying to hide the smile, but failed with ease.
One friend was always saving the other, but it always seemed that Hunter was the one who needed to be put back on track. He was always an unruly child, and it had gotten worse as he got older, but whenever he was with Jessica, all troublemaking seemed to subside. He always told himself that he’d really make it up for her someday, but that someday didn’t seem to be coming anytime soon. There was a few times where he really helped her out, like those few years ago when she needed an escape from the wrong crowd. That was a time where he really got to know her brother, because whenever Wyatt couldn’t be around, Hunter would be there to keep an eye on the girl. Even Hunter wouldn’t have hung out with those people, he’d had his share of people like that back in England, and he certainly didn’t want to relive that time period.
There were days when he didn’t sleep at all, like the few days after his brother died. One, he was in a jail cell for a night, and he spent his time staring at the cracks in the ceiling, and making small talk with a very friendly guard. Two, he’d spent the next night writing, and that’s all he did. He couldn’t seem to get the murder on paper, and to this day it remained only half written. Someday he’d get his story out there, murder and all.
“Weird? It’s normal. Don’t beat yourself up over not remembering her, because in a way you do know her, your dad would’ve continued raising you like she’d of wanted,” He said, somewhat knowing what she was going through. He’d done the same thing with his grandfather, from what the maids had told him, the man practically raised he and Christian. In a way, Hunter felt like he already knew the guy, because that’s whom he’d grown up knowing as a parent figure. He died when Hunter was about five, but until he was older did he find out that his grandpa had started building a car for he and Chris to share. So, he and Christian had finished the car, and the first time they’d driven it had been the night Chris died. He had a piece of his brother wherever he went, and he liked that.
His eyes followed her as she paced, laughing at her words. “Well, no, I guess not,” He admitted, knowing that he was a pretty social person, but what did that have to do with anything? Besides the fact that he was really easy to get to know, what did she like about him? As she began, he only smiled at the list, nodding lightly. They were all common reasons, for the most part anyway. Her last reason made him raise an eyebrow, shaking his head lightly. “And when exactly have we danced? Like never,” He paused, his tone teasing in all respect. “I don’t dance,” He said firmly, but knowing that he could, and pretty well in fact. He just hated when people mentioned it, especially Jessica.
He listened to her quote Shakespeare, recognizing it immediately. He’d read a lot of his books throughout the year, that one being one of them. However, why did she choose to quote him now? He shrugged the comment off, looking toward her as she analyzed his version of what his brother might say. He nodded, knowing that that’s exactly what they should do. “And how do we make them proud?” He questioned, pausing a moment. “Are we going to save the world, create world peace, or end world hunger?” He joked, but knew it would be good if someone could actually end all that. Even one of them would make life so much easier. “Condition?” He glanced up to her skeptically, but curious as to what it might be.
“No,” Was the first word to escape his mouth, but he soon regretted it. Turning her down wasn’t something he liked to do, so he stood, facing her. “There’s no music,” He pointed out, trying to come up with a good reason why they shouldn’t dance. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it, it was just so out of character for him, but for some reason he really wanted to.

Through the insecurity of the night, Still some tenderness survives within! Jessica smiled at him, "there's nothing to worry about actually, we're here now, we shouldn't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will come and if we worry about it today then we will miss the joy of today and regret it tomorrow while worrying about the future." Jessica said as she looked at him smiling, she liked his smile, she smiled back at him she couldn't help it. Even if she was angry whenever Hunter smiled she'd forget all about it, if she was angry at him all it takes is for him to show her himself smiling and then she'd forget all about it. Jessica knew that Hunter knew this fact and used it to his advantage. And somehow it worked every time, Hunter has this weird thing, he could cheer her up whenever she's mad or angry or even sad. "That's me being wise, you should benefit from it, I won't say anything like that anytime soon so it's like every once in a blue moon, should I write it down for you." Jessica said mocking herself.
Jessica tucked her hands in her pocket as she started pacing again thinking about her father, Her father loved her mother since the day he laid eyes on her or so she was told, he hand an affair with a woman before he got married to her mother and as a result Wyatt Milano was born, her father did know about Wyatt but didn't do anything about it, Jessica always thought that this was the only wrong thing that her father did acknowledging Wyatt but at the same time he didn't do anything about it like raising Wyatt or treating him like a son, Jessica and Wyatt were months older only. And when Jessica knew that she had a brother she was so thrilled about it but at first Wyatt was giving her the cold treatment he hated her because she had everything from their father to the rest of things that Jessica have. But as the days went by Jessica and Wyatt developed a friendship and ever since Wyatt have been so protective of her just like Hunter. "Yeah my dad did raise me well I think, like she wanted…" Jessica said without looking at Hunter, she said the fact like she was trying to convince herself that it was true, Jessica made some mistakes, mistakes that she wasn't so proud of and she knew that if her mother was still alive she would've been so disappointed in her but now she changed. Everybody noticed that she did…
Jessica giggled when she saw Hunter's reaction to her words, raising an eyebrow and shaking his head, "We haven’t … Yet!" Jessica said biting her lower lip. Jessica knew that hated it when she mention dancing, she was only teasing him. She knows that Hunter was in fact a good dancer, they've never danced together before and that was true but she watched him so many times at parties dancing with other girls, the fact that he did made her somehow jealous, but since they're friends and nothing more Jessica knew that she couldn't stop him from dancing with other girls…
"We can't go on saving the world or create world peace, however we can save ourselves and do things that would make them proud, I don’t know…" Jessica grinned and scratched her head as if she was thinking about it then she smiled and raised her eyebrow, "Seems like my muse gave up on me I told you it was a once in a blue moon thingy." Jessica said as her smile widened. "But we can make them proud by keeping ourselves happy and live our lives to it's fullest…I guess." Jessica said grinning again.
Jessica pouted as soon as she heard him saying no, she looked at him while he faced her. She clinched her jaw and nodded. "well okay then, if that's what you want, but even though there's no music, we still can dance. We should do something crazy every once in a while plus you can use your imagination and dance, it's not that hard plus I don’t like your taste in music anyway." Jessica said teasing him then she smiled sweetly, if Hunter wasn't in the mood for dancing then she won't make him. "So what do you suggest we do now, we should do something crazy, am welling to try anything." she said grinning.

Everytime you look at me that way, I melt.
It took Hunter a moment to really get what she was saying; he wasn’t exactly the brightest person when it came to something that actually made him think. Sure, he was smart, but he never really applied himself. Reading was something he excelled at, and could read a book pretty quickly. He could quote a bunch of authors, and a bunch of books, but reading was pretty much the only thing that kept him passing school. “Very true, and well thought out,” He commented, nodding lightly. The smile remained on his features, his gaze traveling from Jessica to the many surroundings. Strangely, his smile was true; it wasn’t one of those smiles that he put on to just mask everything over. Lately, that seemed to be the smile plastered on his face, but now that he was with Jessica, he could really be himself, and he could be happy. “Maybe you should write it down, so the next time you have to give one of these speeches, you won’t have to think it up again,” He teased, rolling his eyes playfully.
Hunter watched her continue to pace, feeling himself grow even more restless as he observed. “Would you stop that?” He extended a hand to grab her by the arm, but like usual, she was much too quick for him. "You're making me antsy," Both hands were placed on her shoulders, forcing her to stop. “Relax,” He added, wondering why she seemed to be so antsy. He was already a high-energy guy, he didn’t need her to encourage it, and no matter how much energy she had to burn off. He’d started being so uptight when he was like seven, right about when his parent’s fights started getting worse and a lot louder. He’d go out for frequent late night runs and swims, which was about when the insomnia began. They pounded on the medication, and thought he had ADHD or something, but he’d proved them wrong.
He’d loved life in England, especially all the people. Everyone was so friendly, and went out of their way to help you out. He’d grown up with a couple maids taking care of him, and they’d passed down the tradition of being so caring and helpful. They’d also given him a pretty rich accent, but he was normally able to hide it pretty well. When they’d first moved to the States, he hated how much people stared, like you were some kind of tourist that was going to pick their pockets or something. So, he’d gradually built himself up to hiding, but more often than he would of hoped, it came sliding on through. His parents hated it, they sounded like they actually came from England, while he didn’t. He became flexible, only speaking with an accent at parties when people actually noticed, and if he was really trying to be himself, you might get a taste of the British boy he actually was.
“Hey, it’s not funny,” He shot at her giggle, attempting to hide the smile, but like many times before it slipped on through. He could tell she was only teasing, so he didn’t really mind, but it was when she wanted to dance that it really got him. He didn’t mind dancing, even as little kid. It was the little old French maid that had taught him when he was about seven. She was in her early seventies at the time, but she always stayed around with the Townsends because she loved the boys. Hunter had always watched her dancing her way through her work, singing in French. He’d learned both dancing and fluent French from the older woman, and the two became pretty close. When they moved, she moved back to France with her daughter and grandchildren. She still called every once in a while, and Hunter was always the first and last one to talk with her.
“My goal is to graduate, and get the grades he always hounded me for,” He announced, glancing toward her. “What’s your goal?” He asked, knowing there had to be something specific that she wanted to do to make her mother proud. Chris was always the perfect child, and got great grades, but Hunter was the borderline child, the one who really didn’t do very well. So, Hunter wanted to make up for all the years he couldn’t quite measure up. Maybe he’d actually be the child that his parents were proud of, and they’d finally believe he could actually do something great with his life.
The pout made him melt, and Hunter was always an easily persuaded guy, that was all he really needed. “Fine, I'll dance” He said after she spoke, giving in completely. “What kind of music will it be, then?” He asked, wondering what she had on her mind. The smile had temporarily disappeared, but it soon returned, as bright and happy as ever. Within a moment his hand was extended, showing her that he was serious. If she really wanted to dance, then so be it.

Anytime, anyplace I know you're down, You're the type I can trust to be around. The way you hear me and feel me, Got me lovin you that much more really...Jessica knew that Hunter was teasing her, Jessica liked a good tease and Hunter happened to be good in teasing especially when it comes to her. "You reckon I should write it, shouldn't I, Just in case. You know if I met someone who needed my help, I'm gonna be like Wonder woman to the rescue but instead of super powers am gonna have a super brain to solve problems and give speeches." Jessica said smiling, "Oh my gosh I sound so corny…"
Jessica stopped pacing when pacing when Hunter asked her to, she had no other choice now that he grabbed her by her shoulders forcing her to stop, "I'm Relaxed, It's just you know I don’t like not doing anything.". Jessica don’t like to stand or sit still, she was always moving like a spring, her father used to call her his little springy baby, she thought it was stupid, thinking about it made her smile. "But since I don’t have a choice, I'll stand still Daddy." Jessica said sticking her tongue out at him and then smiling.
Jessica sometimes feels that she's lost, that she doesn't know what to do with her life; Jessica was always at the top of her class when it comes to grades. Not to mention the year when she rebelled it was only then that she let her grades slip. She is a hard worker, the time when she wasn't hanging around with her friends or Hunter; it would be the time when she studied hard. Jessica wanted to succeed at school first and then with her life. She is afraid of failure so she putts her all into everything she does, especially her studies. She refuses to fail. She got this from her Father. Though Jessica didn't know what she wants to do after graduation, she wanted to be a writer like her mother but knew that this was probably not the best idea since she wasn't really good at writing, her father wants her to study law like him to help him after graduation with his law firm, however what she really wanted was to be a model, she wants to build a career for herself in modeling and fashion, but her dad was so against this, he used to get upset when Olivia used to take Jessica with her to her photo shoots and when Olivia got Jessica an agent her dad flipped and went crazy over it. Being daddy's girl Jessica didn't want to upset her father and whenever they brought up the whole what was she going to do after High school she pretends that she have so much stuff and goes out. "of course I wanna graduate with honors, and then I don’t know am torn between so many things, between pleasing my father or do the thing that I love. I really wanna be a model, a writer and a lawyer and probably I'll end up going to college and majoring in a whole different thing then those three." Jessica said grinning.
Jessica crossed her arms while she looked at Hunter. It was so out of Jessica's character to ask someone to dance let alone that there was no music playing, she wondered where that idea came from, she was all about doing crazy stuff but not that crazy. When Hunter asked her about what kinda music they shall dance to and extended his hand, she took his hand in hers. And it wasn't until he asked what kinda music that Jessica figured what she have gotten herself into. "You know… I changed my mind…" Jessica said taking a breath and continuing "It's not such a good idea. Jessica shook her head lightly. It wasn't that Jessica didn't want to dance, but dancing now wasn't probably a good idea, she had in mind something, they'd be dancing slow of course and Jessica couldn't handle this, there's no other thing, they can't dance any other dance other than slow it would look totally crazy, they'd look crazy dancing there in the middle of the night when there's no music, "Nah that wasn't very smart Jessica." Jessica thought as she looked at Hunter still holding his hands.

I've got this funny little feeling, It's something I really can't explain.
Hunter was always one for a good tease, no matter if he was the one teasing, or if someone was teasing him. It felt good to loosen up a bit, and he always liked the reaction it got, especially with Jessica. It just came naturally, them being friends for so long, he had plenty of secrets he liked to tease her about, and vice versa. “No pen, and no paper, I guess you’re going to have to think a little harder when the time comes,” He said simply, shrugging, trying to making himself sound as serious as possible, but whenever he and Jessica were together, it was extremely hard.
He knew she liked having something to do, and somewhat found it cruel making her stop. Soon enough, he released her shoulders, giving her a little room to move if she wished. “What do you suggest? We raid the cabins and spray everyone in whipped cream, or be calm for a night and take a walk?” He half-joked, knowing it would only be wise for the two to do something to occupy them while they talked. The first one was definitely a joke, even though he’d managed to sneak a small bottle of whipped cream from the dining hall. He wouldn’t exactly call it stealing, parents paid for it.
He almost burst right out laughing when she spoke next, her comment was definitely unexpected, but he managed to keep his composure. “Daddy? I’m not exactly father material,” He responded, cracking a slight smile. Actually, he wasn’t even really good boyfriend material; relationships just never seemed to work out for him. In the past, he’d always gotten screwed over; it wasn’t exactly appealing when he was looking to begin something new. So, he’d stayed pretty neutral for the past couple months, and maybe he’d get a boost on the confidence level.
Hunter never did well in school, it just wasn’t easy for him, and it wasn’t that he was stupid. Actually, he was extremely smart; he just cracked under that kind of academic pressure. Jessica had even tried to help him with things, but he just got more and more frustrated. He’d never been a totally calm person, and he’d always hid an anger issue that had developed. However, it was the first time it had actually shown through, and he hated to even think that it had been at Jessica. It wasn’t that he got violent, it was just the way he treated himself, and he kind of blew up in a verbal fight with himself. So, he kind of just gave up.
“Well, why limit yourself? Go for all three,” He said, his smile widening a bit more. Everyone knew that once Jessica put her mind to something she got it done, and doing all three would definitely keep her busy. He’d always supported everything she really wanted, and it definitely was no exception to her after college dreams. "As long as I can come along for all the fun," Hunter was always one that liked to go along for all adventures, but the thought of her modeling somewhat worried him if he wasn’t there with her. He was young when he’d gotten into it, but the people he met weren’t exactly the nicest, and they weren’t always as supportive. Drugs, and so much more were what he saw everyone getting roped into, and he’d been an attempted victim. Guys weren’t as big of targets as the girls were, which was somewhat his main worry on her behalf.
Once she took his hand, he took a couple small steps back onto what might be considered flatter ground that same gentle smile playing across his lips. It was hard to ever believe he could ever be so unhappy, the smile just kept shining brightly, and his eyes sparkled with the same touch as always. He nodded lightly as she said she’d rather not dance, honestly, he didn’t pay any attention to the subject. So, she didn’t want to dance, but she’d said she wanted to do something completely crazy. “So, what’s on tonight’s agenda, then?” He questioned, dropping his gaze briefly to look at the ground, but it was immediately adjusted to meet her eyes soon enough. Maybe it hadn’t exactly been the best idea in the world, would it make things weird between them? Sure, he thought he might actually feel something more for Jessica, but he continued to struggle with those feelings, but whether or not she felt the same somewhat lingered in the air. He valued their friendship, and he definitely didn’t want to jeopardize that.

I wanna loosen up your feelings, And see what's hiding inside...Jessica laughed at his comment, "Oh yeah you'd love it that I have to think it hard, but there's like no need since am sure you'll be there with me so you can remind me of it." Everyone knew that whenever Jessica was somewhere Hunter would probably be there at well and same goes for Hunter, if he was in a place without Jessica being there, everyone knew that these two were always together, there're exceptions for sure but for most of it they were always together. As soon as Hunter's grip loosened and he released her shoulders Jessica took a step forward and crossed her hands, crossing her hands were the only way keeping her from pacing, so she crossed it and kept eyeing Hunter. "Well it sound like a good idea, there's a couple of girls that I really don’t like here maybe we can spray them…" Jessica said smiling, she was joking although the idea sounded appealing to her, those girls really irritated her. She stood there for a second thinking about it and put on an evil smile on her face while nodding, "That's not a bad idea buddy, but I'll take the walking part though… Jessica said smiling at Hunter.
Jessica smiled sweetly when she was Hunter's bursting into laughter when he heard her comment. "Why are you saying that I think you're gonna make a great Daddy someday." Jessica said as she winked at him and smiled. "You think I should go for all three… I see, nah I don’t think so…" Jessica raised her eyebrows thinking about it. Jessica would've actually liked to go for the three but this will be too much for her, Jessica doesn't want to spend her life working, she wanted to have fun as well. She saw her father burying himself in work, her grandpa did that as well when her mother died, and it was like his way of getting away and forgetting his daughter. He buried himself in work to forget about her mother's death and neglected so many things, that wasn't coping, her grandma was always saying that he'll never get over it, and she kept on saying that when Jessica's father talked with them about leaving to the U.S with Jessica, how her grandpa was frustrated with him and got so angry, Jessica was his only grand daughter and she kinda filled the shoes of her deceased mother, Her grandparents always saw Jessica as the replacement for their daughter's death… Jessica didn’t mind really but she felt as if she was expected to follow on her mother's steps and live to her grandparents' expectations. "I wanna have fun dude, and doing all of this isn't going to be fun I know it, I think for now am sticking with the whole modeling and fashion career…What do you think?" Jessica asked. She wanted to be a model like her step-mother, even though her dad isn't so excited about it but he'll come around once she talks with him about it, her dad wasn't good at turning her down or stopping her from doing something that she likes. Plus it wasn't really the time to worry about the future now, she wanted to live in this moment and be here with her friend. "Yeah, yeah, of course we're in this together, So I think you'll like the modeling thing the best since you're gonna be there with me, although when you come to think about it, I think you'll be there for the hot models not me, but who's blaming you." Jessica said raising her eyebrow and trying to tease him.
Even though Jessica wanted to do something crazy and something so out of character but she couldn't come up with anything that was crazy, "I don’t know what's tonight's agenda, I was counting on you telling me what it is, see you're the brain am just the dude who comes with the brains, is it pinkie or something like that I forgot, so anyway what do you think we should do Mr. brain." Jessica said smirking. As their eyes locked at this moment a chill came over her body and she shivered. Jessica looked around to shake that feeling away, "What was that…" Jessica thought. Even though years ago Jessica had a crush on Hunter but didn't want to jeopardize their friendship so she hadn't said anything, she kept it inside her, buried and thought that with it will go out eventually. Jessica thought that her plan worked and her feelings for Hunter were buried and long gone, up until now at this moment particularly, Jessica's hated the fact that she was starting to crush over Hunter again, they were friends and she'd hate to lose such a relationship over this, Jessica wasn't going to say anything and she wasn't sure if Hunter felt the way she does. Jessica left Hunter's hand lightly and turned around "So…What is your plan?" Jessica said as she turned back to face Hunter and smile at him.

I don't want to waste another day, Keeping it inside it's killing me. All I ever want, it comes right down to you.
He smiled at her words, loving how happy he was for a change. He’d been in one of those mood swings lately where he’d be so pessimistic and generally unhappy. It took a really special person to reverse that, and that person happened to be Jessica. “You’re right, I would love that, maybe I’ll make some sort of smart comeback,” He joked, knowing from personal experience that he could never really make any truthfully smart statement, or at least that’s what his quarterly report always said. Jessica usually did more of the smart talking, but Hunter was always there when they really needed to get out of some kind of trouble. He could remember a time when he’d managed to persuade Jessica to attend a late night party for some mutual friend, and they’d come back past her curfew. Her father had been pretty mad, but he managed to convince him that she deserved time to have fun once in a while. Hunter had never been too sure whether or not Mr. Milano actually liked him, because wherever he was, trouble was always sure to be right behind. He nodded deviously at her comment, shrugging his shoulders. “Who knows, maybe I’ll even be nice enough to let you spray them yourself,” When he’d first met her he really didn’t think she was his type of person, she seemed a lot quieter, one that a guy like him would really hang out with. However, she’d proved to be good for him, and come to think of it, she really wasn’t as quiet and sweet as she appeared. “A walk it is, then,” He agreed, knowing it might be nice to do something while they talked. “Someday, maybe, but definitely not today,” He replied, though he’d always thought of himself as a very responsible person when he wanted to be. He’d always said he’d do the right thing if such a situation came up, but what was the right thing? Hunter was always safe, no matter how drunk he might be, he didn’t want to be one of those guys that had to go through the rest of their young life worrying about whether or not the kid had a babysitter. Plus, he was extremely good with kids, and his little brother was fun to hang out with, despite the fact that he was nine years old. “Do what you love to do, don’t do something just to make someone else happy, do it for you, you deserve that for a change,” He said, a sweet smile plastered on his lips. Jessica always seemed to do things to help other people, but she never really did anything for herself. Her father would be happy by seeing her doing something she loved, not by doing something that just made his life easier. Hunter had first decided that he’d open up his own recording company, because that’s what his brother had always wanted to do. However, he finally realized that Christian would’ve wanted him to do something he was good at, and really liked. “So, have fun, go for what you really want to do, and if modeling and fashion is it, then go for it,” He smiled reassuringly, he knew that that’s what she really wanted to do. She’d been pretty interested in the whole ordeal for quite a while, and he admired how much she wanted to go after her dream. It was nice to have someone on your side, and Hunter wanted to be that someone for Jessica when she plunged head first into her future. He didn’t want to rush what might come to both of them, but the future was both exciting and kind of scary. He gave a light shake of his head, but a laugh escaped his lips at her tease. “I’ll be there for both,” He paused, the smile widening to a full-fledged grin. “I’ll even be your personal bodyguard and chauffeur,” He added, knowing that’s probably what he’d do, but honestly, he liked it, as long as he got to join them in whatever adventure they’d get into in the big cities. Hunter thought for a moment, coming up with nothing. “How about that walk? We can come up with something on our way to wherever it is we’re going,” He said; shrugging his broadened shoulders, running his fingers along his jaw line for a moment, still somewhat thinking. His gaze shifted back to her, catching a brief shiver of her body. “You cold?” He questioned curiously, his brow furrowing slightly as he looked toward her. It was pretty cool outside, and there was a slight possibility she could be chilled, but what did he know? Somehow he figured he’d always had feels for Jessica, it wasn’t that you just got them, they were there, and they were meant to be, or so he believed. They’d strengthened once he really got to know her, and he realized that she just seemed to complete him. She was everything he wasn’t, and when she wasn’t around he wanted to find her. It was that simple.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

And I dont know how to be fine when I'm not, 'Cause I don't know how to make a feelings stop! Jessica liked the way he smiled at her, she was happy seeing him smile and lift everything that he was worried about off of his shoulders, she loved the fact that when they were both together no matter what was going on he'll always be able to make her smile, she hoped that he felt the same way. Jessica felt a warm feeling growing inside of her, she shivered again. She knew that those shivers weren't happening because she was cold, it was something else, something that has to do with Hunter's smiling and the way she felt inside her. "Yeah right. Jessica said sarcastically as she giggled again at his Smart comeback comment. Jessica knew that Hunter got potentials and that when he puts his mind into something then he'll do it no matter what, he is a go getter and she liked this about him. The better word to describe this it wasn't knowing it was believing, Yeah Jessica believed in Hunter and that he is capable of doing so many great things and succeed if he wants to.
Jessica's family weren't so happy at first when they knew that Jessica was hanging with Hunter, her step mother was like half supportive and half not, her father was totally against it and he actually asked her not to hangout with him for a while but being the stubborn she is, she didn't listen to her father. That was the only thing that Jessica wouldn't listen to, not seeing Hunter or stop hanging out with him was just something that she simply couldn't do. Her father told her that Hunter gets himself in so many troubles, and her father didn't want her to get into troubles and ruin her future, but Jessica didn't care and defied her father's wishes and continued seeing Hunter and hanging out with him. It wasn't until Jessica got herself mixed with the wrong crowd and started her rebellious year that her Father actually saw that Hunter was the one who put her back on track and gathered her life back together, it was then that her father accepted Hunter and saw in him the person who Jessica saw, he started to like him. Her father told her once that he's comfortable with her hanging out with Hunter as long as they don’t get themselves in big troubles… Jessica was glad that her father was beginning to like Hunter, and was comfortable with the whole idea for her to hangout with Hunter, because she would've hated it if he told her not to see him, and it wasn't like she was gonna listen to him anyway…
Jessica clapped her hands twice and excitedly "Oh really you would let me spray them, I'm so gonna make a list of the girls that deserves spraying when I get back." Jessica said smirking. "You're the nicest person in the world so of course you'll let me. And by the way don’t think that am sucking up so that you'll let me spray them." Jessica said looking at him smiling. She liked it that whenever she was with him she can be herself, and she can be silly or whatever she wanted… "I know…I am gonna do what I want as long as you're with me and like supporting me with every single decision I make…" Jessica said jokingly, She knew that she should do the thing she loves to do, she was kinda confused but also she was sure that once she sets her mind on something she'll do it as well and if that what made her happy then her family are going to be supportive, her father would get a little bit disappointed that she didn’t follow his leads but eventually he'll get over it and be happy for her…
"I think I'll go with the modeling and fashion just because you're gonna be there with me… you know my body guard it's gonna be your part time job." Jessica giggled slightly. Thinking about all the girls that will surround Hunter and try to get with him made her jealous; she raised an eyebrow at him. "hmm on a second thought I think it won't work I can't handle the fact that you'll be surrounded with beautiful girls." Jessica said smiling at him sweetly.
Jessica stretched her hands to put it in his so they can start walking. "Yeah a walk it is, am ready…" Jessica said eyeing Hunter, she flipped her hair before holding his hand. Hunter's question made her jumble, she wasn't cold but she also couldn't tell him that she wasn't otherwise why did she shiver. "Yeah… but… it's cool now, am not anymore." Jessica said stumbling. She felt stupid stumbling, it was a normal question she did she jumble about it and stumbled. "So let's start walking…" Jessica said trying to divert his attention to something else. "Soooo do you like any girls here at the camp, you know I can't believe that you're not having a crush on some girl from around here… admit it Mr." Jessica said smiling slightly.
